For "U.S. Rock", Gustafson's POOBAH brigade consisted of Eric Wright on bass, Lori Powers on percussion and vocals (the latter shared with Gustafson) and Mike Fortino on drums. Still heavy on the fuzz, "U.S. Rock" marks a transition in sound for POOBAH, retaining raw edges of CREAM, at this time added with subtle dashes of LED ZEPPELIN, STEPPENWOLF, Ted Nugent and GRAND FUNK RAILROAD.

Not quite enough kitsch for mine in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.


I did like the Georgian entry, though. To paraphrase a description of the mullet haircut, it's rock at the front, club rave at the back.

Pretty sure that most Pentaxians will have at least one Belgian death metal CD in their collection, Kevriano!

Sorry, but nope Some of us simply refuse to learn new tricks, or at least we don't do so without some form of coercion.

Close, but not quite. I use Infinity Kappa 9 Floorstanding Speakers; Arnie Nudell Classics | The Music Room to go with my Luxman preamp/amp separates. I do admit I am largely deaf... Now.
