King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Infest the Rats' Nest (Full Album) - YouTube

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, AKA "Those crazy Aussies" decided that this time they wanted to make an 80s thrash metal album.

After publishing 5 albums of different genres in a single year, I go into new releases truly wondering what they're gonna sound like.
I did see them in maybe 2015 here in their hometown of Melbourne … and they looked like kids!

Fearless experimenters, though, like another Australian act, Tame Impala. Hit and miss, obviously, but that's part of the charm. You can't possibly release five albums in one year (2017) and have everything liked.

I love a bit of Desert Rock, including Josh Homme's previous band, Kyuss …

Well no sure if this fits the thread, but I have been watching the Ken Burns documentary on Country Music. Pretty good stuff.

I've been listening to a lot of Irish folk music lately. It's peppy and jaunty so it keeps me alert on my motorcycle, but doesn't encourage such behavior as hard rock does. And since it's about the history of Ireland, it's sufficiently sad and depressing for someone who came up on the 90s Seattle sound.

These are friends of mine and I made the video for them using a Lumix GX85 for video and a Zoom H4N for audio.
Not quite perfectly executed on my part but they liked it.
