Of all the Pink Floyd tunes over the years, in my opinion the one tune that appears to have the fastest tempo and the one they all seem to have so much fun playing is "Run like Hell". In the UK BBC Scotland used to use it as the theme tune for their sports programme

Elton John's doing his farewell tour in Oz at the moment ... and our wild weather stopped the show at Rochford Wines near Healesville the other day. John recruited folk musician Davey Johnstone years ago by buying him an electric guitar and forcing him to play and write with it. He does okay. On this track Johnstone maybe mikes up to a rotating Leslie speaker to get a Hammond organ sound.

He really didn't like the disco stuff, Liney, which was courtesy of producer Bob Ezrin on the album. Apparently his solo for 'Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2' ... one of his crisp best, IMHO ... was just one take, because he just didn't want to spend any more time on the track.
