Hey Robgski, Sebastion Bach is fast and pretty allright, but here is the other side of the coin...sloooww and uuuggly. These guys were friends of mine back in the 80's. ....Maybe I shouldn't tell anyone.

I have a love/hate relationship with bands like Skid Row, most of the time I am not interested in the genre, but sometimes it's exactly what I want to hear. I have a Pantera comilation that has gotten me through some long work shifts on infinite repeat.
The slow and ugly sludge rock never appealed to me, and that includes early Black Sabbath, if I'm going to be bludgeoned with sonic hammers, I like something uptempo. That could be punk, metal, hard rock, or some combination like this:

Oh bummer. I had Kraftwerk's first LP. Very talented band. Their early stuff is generally heavy experimental electronics (some would wrongly call noise) but also includes this very melodic ditty called Ruckzuck. They were a very different band early on. I had the original Vertigo swirl label copy which I sold early this year on Ebay for nearly $200. Sometimes I regret selling off some of my vinyl rarities but there is a point at which the dollars others are willing to pay for them supersedes the urge to keep.

That Senor Coconut version of Autobahn is insane. I'm sure Kraftwerk approved 100%.

When I read this, I thought, oh no, what happened to Ty Tabor! Afaik he's still out there - love his work with KingsX and his solo stuff too.

He transplanted to KC from Texas. He has tons of side projects going on and they are currently working on a movie about the band.

He's alive and well.
