This is a young guitar slinger with some good technique and a crazy ear for music. How does a young man such as this even know who UFO were, let alone rip a solid rendition of Rock Bottom? Then he has the balls to play Sweet Child of Mine (Busking) at a Slash concert. Hopefully this young man finds his footing and pulls good ole Rock & Roll along with him.

James Bell Busking outside a Slash concert.

Sticking with my theme of James Bell - Here he is a few years younger. Incredible that such a youngster can have such a melodic sense. The feel and touch is something most player develop over years, but some gifted players are just born with that feel.

Doug Young is one of my favorite fingerstyle players - so relaxing.

The Tubes, The Completion backward Principal. I had forgotten how good this entire album was until I saw Fee Waybill talking about the Mash up in the Movie "Xanadu"!

Let's play a game.

The name of the game is "Guess my circumstance."

I play a song, you guess my circumstance.

When you said 30 days in the hole, and then said 14, it made me think along the lines of Paul. Someone at work exposed you so now all you can do is hang around the house. There are worse fates as long as you are not ill.

Yep.

Contact tracing.

It was nearly second break last Wednesday, my partner and I were on the A deck, near where the cockpit would be if this airplane was that close to being finished, sizing up another refurb job. My phone rings, a 3rd level manager, says I need to go home.

Do not pass Go.

Just go home.

I have no symptoms.

No one wants to have me in for testing, since I have no symptoms.

So I've been doing things around the house and shop. Started cleaning and organizing. One of my pickups is nearly full of stuff that needs to go. And here I sit, wondering how I can get a load to the dump after I get the pickup loaded.

Since I can't go anywhere.

The good news is they are still paying me.

But I would rather be working on the airplane.
