Something a little out there perhaps? I've often listened to Primus and loved the way the music doesn't necessarily follow the same conventions as others, add the words and you get a wonderful combination that doesn't seem to work but somehow just fits perfectly. Anyway Les Claypool who is the backbone of Primus has been working with Sean Lennon (Yes, that Sean Lennon...) and the "Claypool Lennon Delirium" have been doing some great work.
I loved "Court of the Crimson King" when it first came out, this just has to be enjoyed
