Warners has released a 50th anniversary issue of Workingmans Dead and American Beauty by the Grateful Dead. Each has it's own bonus live show material as well. Hard to believe it's 50 years. Unreal. Half a century. I'm putting them on my acquire list even though I already own both on CD.
Thanks for this - me too !!!

Just got an anti-Covid mask with Skull and Roses design on it !!

Now listening to over 7 hours of Vivian Stanshall 'Sir Henry At Rawlinson End', including all the radio performances from the John Peel (RIP) Show.

Two more sadly missed Britsh eccentrics.

I am probably one the few here who know who Viv is. He of the Bonzo Dog Do Dah band. And the voice of the classic musical instrument introductions on Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells whom many might know the first part as the music from that old 70's Friedkin film.

That photo has inspired me to have a listen to Ana Gasteyer. I've never heard of her so haven't a clue what to expect!

Is the turntable a Rega Planar?

Meanwhile... I'm currently listening to Arcade Fire - Funeral. Great album by a great band

She's actually a comedian, but also has a great voice. She was on SNL from 1996-2002. It's a funny/irreverent take on holiday albums.

Good catch on the player, it's a Rega--great table!

Oh, and great album by Arcade Fire!

Very nice!

I think those two albums are the best examples of the early Dead, so many great songs.

Something different.

An at home interview with Rickie Lee Jones, COVID style. Not bad vox for a totally informal setting, and some nice guitar playing
Depending on the artist, I often find the story behind the end result as interesting, or even moreso

So Rickie Lee wrote Easy Money, which was covered by Lowell George on his first solo album
