The new Porcupine Tree album is pretty good, but I'm just not making much of a connection with it.

The same day P/T C/C dropped, The Warning released a new album that I'm much more into...

True, But Ronnie James really sells it, trulky one of the best rock vocalists. Dio-era Sabbath is the only Black Sabbath I really like. I prefer Ozzy's work as a solo artist to anything he did with Black Sabbath.
