I currently work at costco in the sales electronics department. The pay is decent for what I do and the benefits are great. I am also a student at a local community college working on my degree on photography.

Favorite food?
At the time I would say Pho, which is a Vietnamese noodle soup.
Favorite drink?
I believe I am addicted to Red Bull.

Right now I'm a bum...
I'm basically a bum too, just older. I realized that I didn't have to get up every day and go to work at a crappy low-wage job to be broke. I could not work and do that. So...

Food? Sushi.

Soda? No thanks, I like a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. However, I hate cheap American beer like Bud, Miller, etc... yuck.

Needless to say, I've not seen any slow down due to these tougher economic times......
You know, I used to specialize in that myself. Now, I just drink sans drugs.

I'm a database programmer for the US Geological Survey (see end results of our work here) after a 13 year career flying computers for the USAF. I'm working with a team writing and maintaining software to store water-related data from thousands of measuring sites (wells, stream gages, water quality samples) around the USA and some foreign sites as well. We gather data, store it, and make almost all of it available to the public at the web portal in the link.

My favorite food is anything besides liver & onions , beyond that I have too many favorites to choose... My favorite soda would be a good beer

My Job....... the readers digest version

I am a field engineer/coordinator, I manage capital projects after they leave define engineering and are ready to execute in the field, the projects can range from a 100 thousand to 30 million. I am a pipe-fitter by trade and fell into this job about 8 years ago. 26 years in oil and heavy industrial construction. This is a fantastic job with some really odd hours at times. One never really knows how long it will last with this economy.

I'm with daacon a good rack of ribs is right up there on the top of my favorite foods.

Hobbies besides Photography. Golf, Travel, wood working and just being damn right lazy after a long week.

My Job: Currently unemployed...laid off just this last Friday. What do I normally do? I am a software engineer working primarily in Java with a heavy emphasis in Web applications, Web services, and other enterprise stuff.

Favorite Food: Usually Thai, though I have a special weakness for a good Reubin...

Favorite Soda: Vernors (to label it as merely ginger ale would be a travesty)...For more info...Vernor's Ginger Soda

I'm a Production Manager for a small (actually VERY small the way the economy is going) publishing company. We do several visitor guides for the Pacific northwest, mainly Oregon and Washington. And a quarterly regional lifestyle magazine in northwest Montana.

Spent 10 years before that working as a project manager for an environmental consulting firm in Southern California. Left for Oregon when I got burned out on the politics (we did a lot of work with city and county governments and state agencies).

Food...In-n-Out double double (can't get those in Oregon unfortunately)

Drink...Mr. Pibb or iced tea, depending on the mood.

I'm an independent fireman and janitor, and a part-time genie. A.K.A. software/systems engineer.

Favorite food used to be Asian, but I'm becoming more and more fond of Mexican cuisine.

Soda is, was and always will be Root Beer. The real stuff.

EVERYBODY? jeez I dont know what they all do? I am a photographer.

What is your favorite food?
Edible. Seriously. I can never field this question correctly because I usually try to eat the paper that it is written on. Good thing this one is on the computer. Hmmmm....yup, computer screen tastes good!

What is your favorite soda?
Doctor Pepper f'sho

And explain what you do everyday in your job.
I take a lot of pictures. I bring the pictures back to my office, then I make some coffee and check the forums and my facebook while downloading and backing up. Then I sit for hours in a dark office in front of Lightroom2 and exposure/contrast/saturation/yadayday until I get pissed off that I'm working in the dark. Then I take my dog out, because he can come to the mall because he is a model dog (read destroyer of things and humper of all women). After my dog has made a terrible mess, I come back in, heat up my coffee I forgot to drink earlier and get back into the dark editing for a couple of hours. Then I try to answer emails and answering machine messages to field questions from clients who are getting unhappy about how this business does business. (I don't own this one, my biz is closed on hiatus while I work here)

Then I go home and cry because this business doesnt pay very well, and I'm stuck at home....living with my brother and his wife and three kids.

Yeah I chopped this mutha in half, graphically speaking.

Work: Firefighter, Engine 58 Montreal Fire Dept

As you might expect at work we run calls related to fire, rescue, accidents and medical emergencies. Like many fire depts we run "priority 1" medical calls along with the ambulances, I am the primary medic on my team. I also am station cook on my team as I enjoy cooking for the guys.

Favorite soft drink: Spruce beer... the cheap "store brand" stuff, not the real expensive genuine stuff. Don't ask why, I just like it!

Favorite food: Sushi, I could eat that stuff 'till I turn into a big raw fish!

My favourite food is whatever is in front of me right now (I'm pretty easy to please that way).
I like Orange Crush (it mixes surprisingly well with rum) and Ginger Ale (mixes well with rye whiskey and can tame a bad Scotch).
Earlier in my life there was no such thing as a bad Scotch.
