Paying Job: Land Development Consultant/Urban Planner (what I do in my job everyday - desk jockey)
Fun Job: Auxiliary Sergeant with Ontario Provincial Police
Funest [yes I said "funest"] Job: Husband & Father
Part Time Job: Prisoner Guard
Fun: Skiing, Photography, Flying (haven't been in a while), Cycling, Hockey, and Reading anything I can get my hands on about the preceding subjects (sometimes guarding prisoners leaves one lots of time to read).
Favourite Food: almost anything, but I prefer Italian cooking (don't tell my wife - that's why I married her, she's a fantastic cook)
Favourite Soda: diet pepsi with either rum or rye (preferrably Crown Royal) liberally mixed in

What do I DO?

I'm a Certified Investment Management Analyst(R), meaning I assist Endowments, Foundations and Private Investors to develop, implement and monitor long-term investment strategies.

Interesting work these days .

I grew up poor. I eat what I'm served (although I am quite partial to Welsh Rarebit and Sheperd's Pie). My favorite beverage is, literally, iced tap water (St. Louis has the best water in the USA).

I buy and sell lenses and cameras to satisfy a compulsion to have things, and I have imprinted on Pentax. I like the engineering and quality of the 70's and 80's mechanical bodies and I have the Pentax lenses . . . . .

Beats drugs, and I can take pictures with them.

A lot of interesting and diverse careers here...
Me? Husband, dad & Navy medical officer are my jobs. For pay, I take care of Aussie troops, basically.

Favourite foods?
So many - mostly middle-eastern cuisines (naturally, as being of Egyptian heritage) such as fava bean stew, molokheia (look that up), beef shawerma with koshari (a style of rice), bamya (okra stew), mahshi (vine-leaf covered rice mix), kobeba (mince meat with chopped onions, pine nuts, parsley and spices battered and deep fried) - the list goes on - they're all too good to pick one out. I haven't event come to the desserts yet...

Drink? No sodas for me either - mainly water, juices or karkadee when I can get it (all you nile cruisers would know what this delicacy is...)

I'm a speech-language pathologist at a school for kids with autism.
All day long I play with kids, and if I do a good job, they play back.
(That's not strictly true. Some days I sit at meetings with adults and wonder if it looks at all like I might be paying any attention at all. Presumably that is why they pay me the big bucks. )

Soda: Keep the roots out of my beer and pass me a proper pint, would you please?

Food: What are we having?

I'm a printer. My brother and myself are running the family business. We specialize in specialty short run catalogs, doing everything "in house" (or almost).

As a pastime, I enjoy flying (I own a Cessna 210, and rent sailplanes), airbrushing, cycling, traveling and photography.

Favorite food would be a rack of ribs an the B.B.Q.

Favorite drink: I invested so much in Coca-Cola, I should own the bloody company.

Job: Currently on my last 2 weeks of paid vacation then I am officially retired! 30 years of working in various technicial capacities for Canada's largest telecommunications entity is drawing to a close. This is going to be great! Well, it might have been if I hadn't gone out and started a new career 2 weeks ago. I am in the final stages of my training to be a bus driver. Am I crazy? Perhaps. If the bus driving thing craps out I still have my paltry pension to live off - 'till my next job. I have a need to keep moving.

Food: I must say I really like a zesty chicken ceasar salad. I'm pathetic.
Soft Drink: Diet Pepsi
Booze: A nice spicy bloody ceasar with a decent dram of good vodka - again with the ceasar!

Love that approach!
No, you're not crazy, just not keen to staying home being idle...
Great stuff!

I'm an Advisor with Sun Life ...that means I sell Insurance and Investment products. I have been involved in the financial services industry since 1962 (aging my self) ...and with Sun Life for the past 20+ years. Economic conditions have had some impact, not as much as one would think however.

Having been born in India, I have a taste for East Indian food, but enjoy just about anything except licorice. Have to do something about my lunch bills that run about $30 a day in order to fund my LBA, have to cut out the double martini I guess. ...Well perhaps not, summer is drawing to an end and then I won't be golfing Tuesdays and Fridays, so more time in the office and make more money.

I am a general automotive technician. Yeah, a mechanic. My favorite food is maybe bacon, enchiladas, and if I had to name just one, Alice Springs Chicken from Outback. My favorite soda is Cheerwine.

Everyday, I get up early, go to work, and keep people on the road. I specialize in driveability diagnosis, TPMS systems, and general engine work.
