Actually, the Jeep division had nothing to do with those. AMC acquired the Jeep division from Kaiser in the mid1960s (former Kaiser-Willys ~1953).

My recommendation is that unless you live in a very dry area, skip the bra. It traps moisture against the car body and does more harm than good. I'd recommend a plastic hood guard / deflector instead.

I owned american all my life till we retired, we bought a extended warrenty on our Dodge Durango and when the tranny went out they wouldn't cover it.
So we bought a Camery for the comfort and millage and to our surprise the dealer was the best we ever had, they will bend over backwards to make you happy. This is our 3rd car from that Toyota dealer and we will never go to another dealer or make of car.
As for the Bra we have these bugs on the gulf called LoveBugs that have a acid in there blood that eats the paint off a car if you don't wash it ever time you drive it. All I have to clean now is the mirrors.
We got all the thinks extra installed and it looks great.

and our 500 dollar electric golf cart we got a few weeks ago. With added Flamingo's ontop.
