Originally posted by Rupert First, I don't understand gays, it just doesn't make any sense to me how a man could not find satisfaction in a lovely woman but could in another man? I have known many gay people, men and women, and conclude that it is just "who they are", just as I am "who I am". I don't see it as a choice, someone correct me if I am wrong, or you think I am wrong. I've never had a gay person try to push his lifestyle on me, or otherwise be offensive to me in a sexual way....maybe it happens, but it hasn't to me. Like I said, I do not support such a lifestyle, but I don't eat sushi either, nor do I bash sushi eaters.
As for the wingnuts and fruitloops that have all the answers, it is truly amazing, as has been pointed out, that they always seem to be the ones caught toe tapping in the men's room or in some sleaze motel with a crack whore. Perhaps it is how they do their research to become so knowledgeable?

Hee. It's actually really pretty simple if you aren't starting off by trying to prove that LBGT both don't exist, shouldn't exist, and are simultaneously a terrible threat.
Just kind of is, you know.
All these convoluted, and frankly, insane, ideas of 'what causes people to 'choose sin' ' really just confuse matters, starting from their own premises. Like so many other things, certain people are trying to be 'scientific' while simultaneously only accepting anything (and I do mean *anything*) that can be construed to support their own assumptions.
They don't make it easy, but if people can accept themselves and realize that not everyone is the same, and that this is *OK and good,* then everyone's more comfortable with themselves, no one's motivated toward ignorance, confusion, fear, and injustice on this count, and if someone decides that it honors their God to suffer over it, it's on them to do so, not try and make life hard for millions of Americans as if that'll *stop them from toe-tapping..*
Hopefully while being honest with the other people involved, too. People faking it out of fear and self-righteousness creates a *lot* of trouble, abuse and suffering.
Btw, I found an amusing site last night, here's a sample.
