Please let me rant....
I recently sold a Nikon lens on eBay. The buyer was in Canada so I told her shipping would be $12 USD for USPS First Class International or $22 USD for USPS Priority International. It was her choice. But if she chose USPS First Class International, I would not be responsible for the lens after I dropped the lens off the post office because there was no way to track it.
She chose to pay $22 USD for USPS Priority International. The actual postage + insurance turned out to be $20.75 USD.
While packing, I threw in a few items not part of the auction: a UV filter, a lens hood, and a 2X teleconverter.
I just looked at the feedback she left for me. It was positive, and read, "shipping cost was only 9.50 US on another lens i bought compared to 22$US here."
Man I'm p***ed! $22 USD was
her choice. And she didn't even acknowledge the extra goodies I threw in.
