I dunno. It's lost all its charm, has The Simpsons. For starters, they've got a bunch of postmodernists writing it, it's subtly has gone, and the jokes are vaudevillian in their execution.

Homer turning moronic (as opposed to functionally unintelligent) hasn't helped.
