Safari 4 question

Does anyone know how to set or change the settings of the new feature in Safari 4 where you put the mouse to the lower left corner of the screen and it spreads out the browser windows? Since I installed it, it kind of made a collage with them, and if I had 5 windows, it would shape them like an X. All of a sudden, it randomly seemed to make them all appear now in a straight line. I don't like this way, as they can be very tiny if you have a lot of windows open.

Anyone know how to change this back, or how the heck I managed to do this in the first place? It literally went from me doing it once the normal way, and the next time it lined them up. I can't find any settings for this in preferences.

No, I don't have Snow Leopard. Also, the feature suddenly went back to the spread out version, only to revert back to the lined up method the very next time. Seems to be no rhyme or reason, so maybe it's a bug? The space bar does nothing except bring the original window back to the forefront.
