I've noticed you completely ignore any post that invalidates or even questions your zeitgeist. unless of course you just hand the poster a cheap shot insult.

Over Paid and Under Worked? No I am not union so it doesn't hold water. I actually have to earn what I make. Less of course the confiscatory amount the gov. gets.

There is no shortage of posts questioning it, but I haven't seen one yet that invalidates it.

Did you actually read any of them? Or you just spouting off again? I cited history. You cite well nothing except your own angry opinions.
You claim this is important.

Did you actually read what *I* said? Back there, in those couple of pages as yet not addressed substantively by any of you guys?

Ok. Speaking of reading comprehension, Parallax.

If you want to use my orientation against me... Rather than actually converse about what I wrote... Again. Name that orientation.

Again. I wrote some stuff. Mostly in response to the idea it somehow makes sense to 'blame government' and claim this is somehow helping. Remember the *conversation?*

No, I haven't. I thought that's what I said.

More noise. Again to just scroll stuff off with personal attacks and such, what I did say at some length and which remains unaddressed.

It doesn't matter how many citations you make about it, or how many hours you expect me or a financial analyst to spend reading and contextualizing them... Or even authenticating them. If you're simply claiming they 'support' incoherence and insults.

That's not the conversation we were having.

You just ignore the invalidation.
They come in from all over the world.

And Yes, young man YOU are underworked and overpaid.

Do you really think the dynamic doesn't apply to you just 'cause you say so?

From each according to their abilities to each according to their needs. Except if your union.

No. Different interpretation of data comes in. Not invalidation

*gasp!* No! It's... Horrible! 60 dollars CAD? That's....

Wait a minute, that's a *cab ride* to the hospital, some places I've lived.

People get stuck with ambulance bills that are hundreds to thousands of dollars, down here. They jack up the prices cause so many of their calls are 'unrecoverable bills' ...even if it can be catastrophic to people's finances and credit ratings.
Since there were 6 people on that boat you can multiply that by 6. So we paid somewhere around $360.00.
That included at least 3 ambulances... I may be wrong but probably 4 since the boat owner any myself were in rough shape, and I think I may have had my own (I was out of it)
Plus a rescue team including at least 2 boats, which made the trip at least twice looking for others. We could see them searching for us for 20 minutes or so, thankfully a call to 911 on a cell got them turned around and looking in the right direction.

There's no way I would have been able to afford the rescue alone if the tax payers weren't helping with the bill

I do however have a couple of complaints on our system. The hospital only had 1 open bed, which I got. The boat owner couldn't breath, so they stuck her in the hall.
The rest got pushed out the door, 2 people with shattered legs, and 1 missing her front teeth... so she must have had a blow to the head

The worst part though was the initial 911 call.
From what I understand the operator actually asked

Oh... Wow, that was for a *sea rescue* with multiple ambulances and boats and apparently a ferry to carry ambulances?

I guess, by the sound of it, the government plan didn't cover the ferry tickets for the ambulances? I was just talking about what happens if you pass out or get hit with big glass things on solid ground in a big town. Darn. We'd better forget the whole idea of non-corporate medicine. Phew.

(That really adds up to 'a problem we'd love to have' down here. I mean... A problem, don't get me wrong, but a solvable one. I tend to guess.... 'Out the door' meant, 'To the nearest medical facility of sufficient size and capability?' I mean, if they had shattered legs and were just given the boot, I presume you'd have seen the bodies on the way out. Which'd be how they'd do it if we didn't have anything 'socialist-looking,' maybe even throw in a 'conscience clause' so publicly-funded 'religious hospitals' can push off critical patients (with another billable ambulance ride,) if a same sex partner turns up to give information and someone 'doesn't approve of the lifestyle.'

They used to do this to black people, too, not too long ago. Wasn't right then. Isn't right, now. Wouldn't wanna be 'commies' or anything, though. Any labtech openings where you live, come to think of it?
