I'm sick and tired of people starting a thread about the same fricking YouTube video. Four threads that I've seen so far.

My pet peeve is subject lines that don't mention the subject.

The problem is, there are some good well thought out polls and can be useful over time. Here is a good example.

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-film-slr-discussion/70207-body-count-poll.html

That said, there are many many threads that shouldn't exist either.

I'm not sick but i am tired of Taff's general post content. If its not some sort of ungrounded complaint its a photo of the same woman over and over again.

:ugh:

Seriously Taff, if you're going to start shit make it worthwhile.

Taff, looks like you should run a poll to see if the forum consensus is there to ban polls.

A-freakin'-men.

I can't stand the ones that just say "Need Help" or "Can Someone Please Tell Me What I Should Do?" or "What do you think?" or any other nebulous, vague, titles.

It doesn't get me interested in your thread. Often, I won't even bother clicking it, because nine times out of ten it's about something I can't answer or reply to, like what's the best bloody camera store in Wisconsin.

You taken offense to me somewhere Gooshin? As your comment seems like this has gone from a poll related complaint to a completely personal attack on me and my photography.
I could respond with a lot more but would see it at a waste of my time.

This should be a poll.

I think we should fund a multi milliom dollar study to find out the answer. Then after we find out the results forget them and force you to do what we want anyway.

The reason we shouldn't ban polls is the same reason we shouldn't ban most types of threads or topics here. Just look at this short thread and see how many other "polls are ok but what I really hate is_ _ _ _ " So if we banned everything everyone didn't like, well we may as well turn the lights off.

Oh though I do agree that threads should have clear and easily search-able titles. Second Market Place threads should not have titles like "Yard sale" or Spring clear out"

Now that deserves a poll.

Frankly I don't mind all the Polls. The Czechs are the real problems.

My favourite title to hate is "Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Grrrrrrrrr.

Help you .....with what?

And there ought to be a ban on using more than one exclamation mark.
The world is going to run out of them some day and you'll be sorry!

Whoops, sorry about that!
Damn!

...your inability to clearly articulate an issue in a short sentence used as a title. Help me = Cya.
