How wired are You ?

Ever the sucker for punishment let's see how long this thread stays on track I was working on several of our computers in house the other day and it dawned on me man we have a lot. I was going to start a poll but I know Taff hates them

So how many computers and Internet devices Do you have in the home ? Here's my breakdown: (routers and modem(s) not included)

Desktops - 4 (3 working , 1 in the basement to be donated )
Laptops - 4 working
Internet Devices - 3 (XBOX 360, BlueRay DVD (not hooked up) , iTouch )
IP Phone - 1
Smart Cell Phones - 2
Cell Phones Internet is Accessible - 2

Edit : damn I forgot a couple ...

Network printer - 1
Wii (Not hooked up) - 1

================================================

Grand total of 18 not bad for a house hold of 4 (all over 18).

Hrm. Between the two of us:

4 old computers: (my trusty old laptop, an equally old Mac desktop that's theoretically-dedicated to the photography, sweetie's old Mac, an old Win 98 box that's not in service but has stuff on hard drive. Which, come to think of it, I could go ahead and back up onto this little external drive without making it break a sweat. )

1 cell phone which is theoretically capable of some form of rudimentary Internet access, (not sure how that works, we never got that service)

Umm... That'll be about it?

Funny thing is, I *feel* more 'wired' than all that, but I guess it's actually just people I hang out with that actually have all the gadgets.

Rather modest.

Desktops 2
Laptops 2
File and Application Server 1 (basement)
X10 Server 1 (basement)

I mention the latter because I can and do control my house from the Internet.

woof!

Well, here's what's in my home

2 desktop PCs
1 Netbook
1 Blu-ray player (not hooked up)
1 Nintendo DS

Now that I think about it, it's quite a bit for one guy... Something tells me I need MOAR!

1x main desktop, dual monitor setup
1x server
2x media center PCs
1x regular use laptop
1x retired laptop
1x shuttle computer (half height tower) that sees little to no use
1x cell phone that only gets used for voice calls (I hate texting)

Media centers double as the bluray players. One on the 42" Plasma, another on the projector.

I've seen the pic of you surrounded by laptops, PC's, monitors, printers... Amazing! You're not connected--you are connection

I have just a business HP laptop which goes through Dell monitor. My wife has a netbook and a cell. (She thinks a cell is necessary in addition to the internet connection and our land line. I beg to differ. My Pentax camera and lenses--yes, they are necessary.)
