The last movie I watched was a DVD of "Dr Strangelove (or how I learned to love the bomb)", a couple of weeks ago on my last Denver trip. It's in a tie for the Best Movie Ever with "Blazing Saddles"

In that case, I think you need a few more David Lynch films on that list
Oh yeah, there would be a few more Lynch. I have seen them all. And Barton Fink, speaking of the Bros.

'Batman Returns' (92)

Classic Burton flick. IMO one of the best Batman films out there.

'Blood: The Last Vampire' (09)

I'm into my Japanese/vampire/ninja flicks, but this one really sucked. This movie was way too Americanised & unfortunately too many of these Japanese, (themed), movies are falling victim to this. The acting was terrible as was the CG blood. I switched it off after 3/4 of the way through.

Not recommended even for the diehard vampire/ninja fans.

Since I bought my Samsung HD LCD, and put together a 5.1 surround system, I've been watching a lot of Blu Rays. I joined Netflix ( if you rent a lot of movies, netflix is the way to go ) and today I watched 9, animated post apocalyptic flick. Tim Burton co produced. Looked good, and sounded great!! Story wasn't bad either. Gotta love the sub woofer, woo hoo !!! Like a theater in the house

Watched Inglorius Basterds last night. Stupid DVD wouldn't work in my DVD player hooked up to the 42" HDTV, so I had to watch it on my laptop. Not too bad though as it is a 17" screen. Pretty good movie.

'My Name Is Modesty: A Modesty Blaise Adventure' (04)

B grade action film presented by Quentin Tarantino. I have no idea why he would want his name affiliated with this rubbish.

I also watched 'The Butterfly Effect' tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Hearing Ashton Kutcher was in it didn't inspire confidence but it really was a good movie.
