But remember what we are dealing with. Their logo fits them to a tee.

QuoteQuote:
The donkey or ass, Equus africanus asinus,[1][2] is a domesticated member of the Equidae or horse family. The wild ancestor of the donkey is the African Wild Ass, E. africanus. Traditionally, the scientific name for the donkey is Equus asinus asinus based on the principle of priority used for scientific names of animals. However, the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature has ruled in 2003 that if the domestic species and the wild species are considered subspecies of each other, the scientific name of the wild species has priority, even when that subspecies has been described after the domestic subspecies.[2] This means that the proper scientific name for the donkey is Equus africanus asinus when it is considered a subspecies, and Equus asinus when it is considered a species.

In the western United States, a small donkey is sometimes called a burro (from the Spanish word for the animal).

A male donkey or ass is called a jack, a female a jenny, and offspring less than one year old, a foal (male: colt, female filly).

While different species of the Equidae family can interbreed, offspring are almost always sterile. Nonetheless, horse/donkey hybrids are popular for their durability and vigor. A mule is the offspring of a jack (male donkey) and a mare (female horse). The much rarer successful mating of a male horse and a female donkey produces a hinny.

Asses were first domesticated around 3000 BC,[3] approximately the same time as the horse, and have spread around the world.

Merry Christmas to you, Rupert. There's a big difference between a foe and an opponent, and you're a pretty worthy opponent.
I'm not too worthy of much of anything really, but I do appreciate the kind words. I'm betting we could all sit around and have a drink together without killing each other or even raising our voices. I know Al and me fight like animals here, but we are really good friends.....strange things happen when you let them. Even Graphic and I have had some good conversations away from the heat of battle. You guys owe me your best shots, and I owe you mine. That makes us all worthy.
Regards & Merry Christmas to you and your Family from Me and Mine!

BTW- I have little use for DPR, but he did give the Kx a Great Christmas present.....Hats off to Pentax!

I drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.
I drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.
Yeah, you know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

Now, every morning, just before breakfast,
I don't want no coffee or tea.
Just me and my good buddy Weiser.
That's all I ever need.

Cause I drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.
I drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.
Yeah, you know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

Now, the other night I lay sleeping
,
And I woke from a terrible dream.
So I called up my pal, Jack Daniels,
And his partner Jimmy Beam.

And we drank alone, yeah, with nobody else.
We drank alone, yeah, with nobody else.
Yeah, you know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

Well, the other night I got invited to a party
,
But I stayed home instead.
Just me and my pal Johnny Walker,
And his brothers Black and Red.

And we drank alone, yeah, with nobody else.
We drank alone, yeah, with nobody else.
Yeah, you know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

Well, my whole family done give up on me,
And it makes me feel so bad.
The only one who'll hang out with me
Is my dear old Granddad.

And we drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.
We drink alone, yeah, with nobody else.
Yeah, you know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

Man I started last week.

All kidding aside the most I drink might be a glass of wine with an Italian dish once a month or so.

Yeah, I have a shot of Old Overholt rye, or Ardbeg single malt scotch once or twice a week. (OK, sometimes two shots. But my one hard and fast rule is that I only drink on days that end in "y".

Great picture, by the way.

That's a nice shot Graphic...when did you have the time to take it....you are mostly always so busy defending your Wingnut Party...with good cause, they are in pathetic shape from ocean to ocean and border to border. It's a tough job but someone has to do it....right?

Anyhow, that is a nice shot and the ones by SMC were very nice too! I enjoyed them all. I did have my Christmas Party for my Dolly and her Bubba yesterday and it was perfect! We had cake and ice cream, Chokit Milk, and lots of Toys! I didn't do the best of jobs with my shooting, I guess I was more interested in the Party, but here are a couple I shot that were decent enough to view....barely!
It was a beautiful day, even the weather with a sunny and calm 75F was just perfect for our Christmas Party......today it is 35F and falling...and snowing........Texas, you just never know.

My Dolly in anticipation of those toys!

With her Bubba nad Chokit Milk...

We got Toys! Lots of Toys!

Just one more of Tristan....he wanted to know if I could take a photo of his "Orange Eyes". He says he is the only kid in pre-kinder that has Orange Eyes, and he is very proud of them? When you are four, it is a different world, no doubt! LOL!

Their Mom is a hard worker, works long hours as the Cook where I eat every day and can barely afford to pay the bills......not going political here Graphic, we could discuss it for days, but the kids should not suffer...no kids should suffer in a country this rich at Christmas. Can we agree on that?
Regards& Merry Christmas to you and your Family!
Rupert

You're not straight, RML? Damn, I didn't know that.
How come you've never mentioned it before?

Merry Christmas.
