There you go! File a claim and see what happens.

If Crawford claimed that they shipped the item, what do you expect Amazon to do, chase down the delivery guy or the wear house worker for losing your order?
So, you thought about this, and your thinking lead only to these two possible solutions to the issue at hand. Very revealing.

Actually mine was a question not a statement. Which you did not answer.

Well if you're not going to bother, then this entire thread is just one big example of how much of a whiny, ill-informed, typicamerinized (new word ftw!) consumer you are.

What is it that you WANT Amazon to do?

I have purchased many items online. Most (95%) were without any problems. Online purchase does require a bit of re-adjustment in terms of how one should go about resolving issues.

- for refund - always go after whoever you paid the money to, usually paypal for ebay purchase and amazon for amazon purchase. If you paid with credit card, you can also contact your credit card company for refund.

- for shipping - always deal with whoever that is shipping the items

- for unsatisfactory items - always deal first with whoever that shipped the items to you but always notify whoever you paid the money to as well

Documentation is very important in any dispute. Therefore keep all paper trail (e.g. email) and take a picture of the package and items when received. I prefer to deal only with reputable online sellers.

No, you'll be all of that if you dont actually make a claim.. which you still havent done.

Whatever, either you skip words while reading things or are on crack. Hope you have many months of aggravated correspondence with Amazon, cheers!

Seems to me like you're poking a stick out of a cage, but whatever.

In a word... Spam is what's wrong with Amazon.

I clicked a link to find out what a pretty abysmal tripod someone was asking about was, a month or two ago, and they're still trying to sell me the f'n thing.

They are still trying to sell me the DA15/4 even though I've already bought the item from them a few weeks ago

Anyhow, Amazon just sent me an e-mail authorizing the refund. (whew! I thought they were going to choose to run after the UPS guy or chase after a warehouse worker, I guess they had a third unimaginable alternative, who would have thought )
