Well, Canadian just picked up gold a womens hockey!

They dominated!

Ahhh, womens hockey. A sport where only nation actually cares enough to put together anything resembling a team..

Easy gold for Canada if you ask me.

Yep, after watching the Canadian women last night, I think they could have beaten the Russian men worse than the Canadian mens team did.

That was an impressive USA win against Finland. Unfortunately, I'm going to miss the Sunday gold medal game because I'll be at work.

True, but that doesn't stop it from happening.

That goal that tied it with less than 30 sec. to go in the 3rd period was something else!! Now that's a true championship game - suspense till the end. That was crazy good hockey.

Looking forward: I am really starting to wonder how far Crosby will go 5-10 years from now in terms of stacking up against the icons of hockey history. The only teenager to win a scoring title in any a major North American sports league and the youngest captain of any team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup.

He is a young but exceptionally talented 22 year old from Nova Scotia...

A few, rather quite a few, people critisized Crosby as not having been that "great" during the olympic series!
What they forget is that he made a lot of good plays which eventually led to winning games.
And, who doesn't remember this shoot out goal he made "in extremis"?

As a real pro, he showed again that he always performs well during stressful circumstances ... just like today!

But let me tell you that this game had me sweat!
