Looking forward: I am really starting to wonder how far Crosby will go 5-10 years from now in terms of stacking up against the icons of hockey history. The only teenager to win a scoring title in any a major North American sports league and the youngest captain of any team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup.
He is a young but exceptionally talented 22 year old from Nova Scotia...
A few, rather quite a few, people critisized Crosby as not having been that "great" during the olympic series!
What they forget is that he made a lot of good plays which eventually led to winning games.
And, who doesn't remember this shoot out goal he made "in extremis"?
As a real pro, he showed again that he always performs well during stressful circumstances ... just like today!
But let me tell you that this game had me sweat!
