I suppose you're from New Mexico and that would mean great weather very soon, if not right now?
Or else, "N.M." means "Northern Minnesota" and that would imply crappy weather.

JP
Yeah, New Mexico.

It's highs in the mid 30s to low 40s and occasional snow right now.

I am amazed at the wide range of weather differences which you find in your state!
A riend of mine was there as few times for business purposes and was telling me how "wild" the temperatures would get from the highest peaks to the "lower" (still quite high) elevations.
Uou must have quite a fauna as well?
Well, cheers and best of shooting for the spring.

Yep, winter sucks.
I agree. It's a bit difficult to shoot with no light. Luckily winter only lasts about nine months over here.

Taking passport photos ... that, at least, pays for the equipment, right?
It pays some of my bills, with a little luck I sell some artwork to cover the rest

I didn't realized you were taking "film" shots. That brings me back a few years alright! Time-lapse work with a film camera? You must be rather good at it because no way I would try that with film ... probably would sepnd a few dozen rolls before getting any half decent results.

JP
Working part time in a lab means that I don't pay full price for processing. So shooting with film really isn't all that bad.
I'd shoot time apse digital, if my digital had the feature, but it doesn't.

Yeah, it's a pretty incredible place.

Santa Fe is at 7,000ft, so we get a pretty real winter here, but the southern part of the state generally stays pretty warm all year round.

It should be warming up in the next month or so and I can't wait for that.

Actually I do spend a great deal of time shooting now that I have the perfect model.
You will find it's quite rewarding to actually step outside of your house to take photos. There is a whole world out there.
