Why are there no Intel T9500 processors for sale in the US?

I mean, it isn't that old of a processor, is it? All supplies have been exhausted? [!]

I wanted to upgrade my laptops with the biggest and best hi-rez screen to the fastest processor it will support, an Intel T9500, before it's too late. Seems like, it's too late!

I'll tell you after some searching, I haven't found one new processor for sale from any of the major, or even some minor sellers. There's some available off eBay from China. Dunno, with Intel being a US manufacturer, having to go to China to get one ... that worries me.

Anyone have a favorite seller of PC components in the US that have these, new?

Thanx,
-steve

If it works like the OS in a system, companies force sellers to send them back after a certain period!
thanks
