Christian militia accused of plotting to kill cops - USATODAY.com
DETROIT (AP) — Nine alleged members of a Christian militia group that was girding for battle with the Antichrist were charged Monday with plotting to kill a police officer and slaughter scores more by bombing the funeral — all in hopes of touching off an uprising against the U.S. government.
Seven men and one woman believed to be part of the Michigan-based Hutaree were arrested over the weekend in raids in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, and another was still being sought.

FBI agents moved quickly against the group because its members were planning an attack sometime in April, prosecutors said. Authorities seized guns in the raids but would not say whether they found any explosives.
The arrests have dealt "a severe blow to a dangerous organization that today stands accused of conspiring to levy war against the United States," Attorney General Eric Holder said.
Authorities said the arrests underscored the dangers of homegrown right-wing extremism of the sort seen in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people.

I cannot take Axl Rose seriously after he used an illusion then became involved in a spaghetti incident. Come to think of it, GnR shoulda quit after Appetite for Destruction; there was no direction to go but down.

"Christians" arming themselves with AR15s (so I heard) to battle the AntiChrist is grade-A stupid. Killing cops to gin up sympathy and call to arms against the "evil" government is grade A+ stupid.

But damn if the press, and the government, did not shy away from calling the raghead-army-guy who shot all those other army guys a militant islamo-fascist.

Only difference I see is one was caught before and the other after, though both were known about before hand. I don't give a shit why they were doing it, **** 'em all with a cattle prod.

Hello out there! Are some of you of the opinion that Fruitloops only come in one flavor? Get on down to your local Convenience Store and get some, start counting the flavors and see what you come up with. Besides the varieties in flavoring, some are packed on the right, some on the left and some in the middle. Now see if you might get some correlation going to what we see in America...and the world....regarding Fruitloops.

Don't tell me they are all on the right side of the package...or on the left...or all in the center......or all one flavor...they just aren't....plain and simple!

Don't get me wrong. I agree. Don't know about the cattle prod though.

We have a very full variety of "frootLoops" around here.

This came down from a grand jury indictment.
