No one is more tired of it than the true conservatives. They are the ones being hurt by it (politically) the most. Bigotry isn't only about race, it's about lumping everyone different than yourself into one category. Categories like "everyone who isn't a Democrat is a teabagger", or "everyone who posts pictures of squirrels on a photography forum has walnuts for brains".

If you get enough people in the middle of the road you can stop a runaway truck coming from either direction.

Now I have a headache. Thanks Rupert!
Well, at least you see the problem, which is more than far too many on the right can do. To most Americans, it appears that the entire right is radically insane, and when a guy like Coburn comes along with some common sense remarks, and they want to hang him, it just reinforces that belief. Some serious housecleaning is needed in the Republican party, but who will lead it? The only ones with any common sense are afraid to open their mouths for rear of being branded a "Socialist" or Obama supporter. Serious problems lurk for your guys Jim.....America is moving ahead, with or without the right...just as Obamacare did. You can participate or just whine when you lose, as you have been doing for four years now. It won't get better, trust me......there is a lot of false hope on the right for November...just as there was for an Obama defeat. How did that work out?
Regards!

Rupert, I've refined whining to an art form. (just ask my wife).
Its not as productive as actually doing something, but takes less energy.

Well, even if they aren't the ones *personally-spouting* the line, "God says if you can be treated fairly under the law in any way, my children will marry goats!"

They do expect the people who say that to go unchallenged.

Perhaps we need more 'coverage' of the 'other side of the story' to, 'If you aren't denied access to your own shared property and your dearest one's death bed, I *know!* people will F livestock! Devils! "

Yaknow?

(They said the exact same stuff about interracial marriage, too, you know, btw)

Like.

It's electing people on some basis, "If we don't hurt someone, I don't know how to not rape livestock!"

Wow.

Frankly, if you think Faux News isn't mere propaganda, just quiz the viewers on what they think the verifiable facts of a matter are.

It's something that's done fairly frequently, but not enough, perhaps. It gets people passionately *believing* stuff which just isn't true, even when it comes to the very text of referenda they're screaming for.
And MSNBC is fair and balanced correct?

Not propaganda, right?

Keith Olbermann, Chrissy Mathews with the thrill up his leg and Rachel Madow are all journalists and not propagandists. Yes, no, maybe?

None of those guys would even think about getting folks to passionately believe in lies....

NOOOO! Never!

In truth both networks are clearly shills for the Democrats and Republicans respectivley. In fact you can add CNN, NBC and ABC to the Democrat propaganda machine. They aren't far behind Fox.

What is wrong with one network presenting a different opinion?

Don't like it?

Don't watch.

More gobbledygook.
You should know better by now.
If I want political comedy, at least I know what it is.
You don't.

Yeah Yeah, What He Said!

Rupert didn't even read my post.

First of all I don't watch Fox.

I am simply pointing out that there is obvious bias on Fox, just like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, New York Times and on and on and on...

Shooz also doesn't read posts before replying to em.

Where pray tell me did I say that Fox is "fair and balanced". Show me where in any of my posts since my first day on the forum did I say that?

But of course leftists can only win arguments by building straw men and knocking them down.

You people have no integrity.
