Yeah avoid carrying a couple of long lenses and watch out if there are any Apache gunships roving around. Who knows, the pilots might well have itchy trigger fingers and think it is fair game to do like what they did here

Got a couple of friends who are avid plane spotters and security can vary widely from place to place. With security more pro-active to counter any perceived terrorist threat nowadays, plane spotting can definitely get you unwanted attention from the authorities. In their eyes, they can't tell offhand if your plane spotting/photo taking isn't a pastime or a possible recce for a future terrorist strike.
