It's just a rare bit of truth in marketing. That's what you say after cleaning the sensor and look at the assorted detritus stuck the end of the wand -- "Oh! Ick!"

(Note: this is coming from the country that drinks POCARI SWEAT!)

I was finally able to try it out today but I finally got a set of Cokin Z-Pro ND Grads and a Z-Pro holder and a 77mm adapter ring. I just need to get a 82mm ring, a filter case and a set of solid NDs and I think I'm set.

I use a large premoistened alcohol electronics cleaning pad to clean my wiper blades.
Alcohol preps work too but you'll need several and could easily shred your fingertips.

Isopropyl alcohol probably isn't the best thing for rubber but they're convenient,
and clean wiper blades work much better than dirty ones.

Not a great day, but I got a working Leningrad 8 exposure meter for £1.50 and a 64mb Sony memory stick for £1 - I need the stick because I'm including my last spare with a camera I'll be selling next week, and I like to have one in hand ready for the next thing I sell. Also picked up a Redstan filter mounting ring for my anamorphic lens, but I paid for it weeks ago, I was previously given the wrong size.

Way, way behind as usual ... but I "lucked out" at a collector's fair in Poitiers last weekend. Most of the stuff was stamps, postcards, etc. but there was some camera gear.

So, I found this ...a FED 2 from 1966 with a Jupiter-3 lens (50/1.5 - M39) for the asking price of 35€. I offered 30€ and it was mine! An excellent Jupiter-3 (a 1985 serial number), a lens that I have been searching for quite a bit now ... and the price was a steal.

Happy camper and it is great fun on the Fujifilm XE-2. (see image below of a turn signal on a Citroën Rosalie - Citroën Rosalie - Wikipedia which was at the collector's show as well)

thanks for the explanation

I was seriously confused over the coloration of the pictured " SMU " and almost tried adjusting the screen
