More Fuji "rangefinder" format gear ... a new 7 artisans 35/1.2 and a used silver XE-2. I still have the black XE-1, but a Fuji-geared photo buddy is going to buy it off me.

I really like the style and feel of these Fuji and I would consider a new XE-3, except there's no on-board flash which is kind of a deal-killer for me and my use.

Bought a second copy of the SMC-A 50mm f/2.8 Macro, at a good price again. The two combined are marginally dearer than any other single one I've seen listed... I'll decide which copy I prefer and sell on the other I think. Also a cheap purchase in the Moman tabletop tripod with ball head. Currently a good price, around £20 posted, on eBay UK for a very marginally used copy (and around 9 remaining at this price). Not affiliated.

Is it bad I'm still tempted to pick up more lenses?

Edit: and almost forgot! Picked up a Sigma 75-210mm 3.5-4.5 manual lens for my other half's Olympus OM10. She took it out for it's first spin since her ownership on Sunday, and she'll also be giving it some airtime in London towards the end of the week... I'm praying that the seals etc. are still sound and that it produces some good pictures with the kit Zuiko 50mm f/1.8. We'll see!

Well my latest acquisition is new brake pads and rotors for my Nissan Frontier. They were still legal, but since it was in the shop anyway I told them to go ahead and install them. New tires next spring and all set for another trip to Yellowstone next May.

you'd be wrong - the Flektogon is seriously sharp...
A CZ Flektogon 35/2.4 will kick the lovin' crap out of 99% of any other lens ever made ... trust me, I have tried more than a few of the "others".

Some more Pentax-110 gear ... I actually bought this package just for the 70/2.8 lens to add to my collection and to try out on the Fujifilm XE-2.

For the price paid, the rest of the gear was basically "free" ... so, I might try some "radical mad scientist modifications" to the 50/2.8 lens and the 24/2.8 lens ... maybe open them up for hyper-focal and/or flipped element experiments!

I'd have to agree, Jean - how has this lens been kept a secret??

Yeah, I think Adam has some anti-shouting feature enabled with the forum software.

Try this:

˙˙˙WOOɹ פNIΛI˥ ɹ∩O⅄ NI ┴HפIɹ פNIԀW∩Ԁ 'ɹƎMOԀ ℲO S┴┴∀M pN∀S∩OH┴ ∀ S,┴I 'HO

˙˙˙ɯooɹ ƃuᴉʌᴉl ɹnoʎ uᴉ ʇɥƃᴉɹ ƃuᴉdɯnd 'ɹǝʍod ɟo sʇʇɐʍ puɐsnoɥʇ ɐ s,ʇᴉ 'ɥo

There, that's better.

I think.

Wait.

Never mind . . . . . . .

Mine too.

Do you realize just how hard it is to type upside down and backwards?

It's just a rare bit of truth in marketing. That's what you say after cleaning the sensor and look at the assorted detritus stuck the end of the wand -- "Oh! Ick!"

(Note: this is coming from the country that drinks POCARI SWEAT!)
I liked Pocari Sweat when I was in Asia. Better than Gatorade and all the crud Coca Cola and Pepsi put out here.
Playing with Affinity for the first time since buying it for half price last week. (Thanks Pentax Price Watch thread here in the forum!)
Also got a SIgma 10-20 4.5-5.6 from a member who sent it international without a single molecule of padding in the box. And the lens still works fine, at least as far as I can tell. Still annoyed that the member never responded to my PM asking why he didn't even throw a Kleenex or piece of newspaper around the lens when he mailed it. Is the feedback system here like fleabay where if you tell the truth, you get dinged in response?
