Well, that is strange. Does it fit the stowage place on the Winder ME II?

yes it does but when I place it on the Super Program base plate it is just a little bit too small

I just got this from the ebay seller

Dear slyfoxttf,

Hi, for some reason Pentax did not make winder covers for the Super Program, Program Plus or Program A. They do not have threads to even install one.
well it looks like a little tape might do the job

I had a dilemma as because of pepperberry farm I feel like I really want Auto Chinon 55mm f1.7 but to be perfectly honest haven't had a proper go out with the lenses I do have, which be now 8 of them lol and my new Pentax KP, working day time and because of Winter coming back is totally dark outside, waiting for summer like...
I believe there’s the auto chinion 1.7 and the auto chinion MACRO 1.7 that are two different animals altogether.
I’m in exactly the same boat. Typically out between 7:30 and 5:30 so catching zero sunlight!

I took a chance on another Asahi Pentax K on eBay. Listed by a larger seller of vintage cameras in “fully working mechanical condition” and excellent cosmetics. My other K (179799) is a bit rough looking and needs shutter repairs, if the curtains are good. The second K only had a 300 mile trip by USPS. Unfortunately, it must have been dropped or subjected to some very high vibrations because it arrived non-functional. The mirror now goes UP when the shutter is cocked and stays there when fired. A tap on the table drops it. Shutter sticks open too. The seller was willing to take the camera back, but it is in such nice overall condition that I want to keep it and have Eric H. repair the camera. I ended up getting $50 plus $3 tax refunded. Both K’s are now packed in an insured USPS package and will be on the way to Eric. Hopefully at least the nicer body is repairable.
Awe, nuts! Eric Hendrickson said the nice body was improperly lubed and can’t be overhauled, though he did fix the mirror and set the shutter speeds to be close. The other one (179799) will be a shelf sitter only. The shutter curtains and screens are worn-out. Guess I’d better give up on having a working K before I go broke.

Just won an auction labeled:
Tamron SP...
Hope I have not done money for nothing
I finally won the auction for $85 (shipping included).
There are 4 Tamron SP adaptall-2 zooms in it but the picture were not good and they will arrive within the next few days.
According to the seller, there is only 2 front caps but none for the rear .
Finger crossed.
Seems to be a 28-80, 35-80, 70-210 and 60-300.

this is exactly correct - there are two Chinon 55mm f1.7 lenses; the Macro is not just a close-focusing version of the standard 55mm....

Do they only get consumed after they have been used to fulfill their measuring purpose with a new lens? Even so, would they ever run the risk of going bad?

no idea if they go bad - I've never had one that didn't taste like itself...

after I shoot them, I'll eat a few... then the next lens, eat a few....

So in a way one could say that your LBA has detrimental effects on your figure?
