Its a steal. You will love it once you nail using it. There is an art to getting the best out of them but when you do they are superb
I am willing to learn

A new copy of the stack of primes. I found out my old one was decentered. There is less play in this one's barrel and the 'scratches' on the rear element came of with a bit of alcohol.

Looks new. Good job!

Well, we closed on our new travel trailer. So we got that and started acquiring all the little accessories. A hose to drain the black and gray water. Surge protector cable. Mirror extensions for the side view mirrors. Electric brake module. Anti sway bar setup etc. etc. etc.....................................

We are leaving the trailer at the dealership until next spring.

An original model Wimberley gimbal head with the original instructions from eBay for $126 with shipping and tax. I was looking for lens plates when I found it. First one I’ve ever seen for under $250 used. Other than the expected paint chips, it’s in excellent condition and works smoothly.

Another job lot which I mainly bought to get a really unusual Canon lens, but it turns out most of the value will be in a couple of Pentax lenses:

A Canon Eos 700 with the weird 35-70 power zoom. Looked nice, but it turned out that two lens flanges are broken and the lens was GLUED onto the camera! Surprisingly the lens works, but it isn't going to sell for much in that condition. If I can clean all the glue residue off the body and it works (the battery I need to test it has died) that might sell, but it isn't especially notable.
A Cosinon 135/2.8 in M42 that has a bad dent in the filter ring and needs a good clean but otherwise seems OK
And a Pentax ME super that seems to be a bit dead but fortunately came with a Pentax-M 1.7/50 and a Takumar-A 3.5-4.5 28-80, both in very good condition. Hopefully I'll break even, but I paid over £40 including P&P so it isn't going to be very profitable.

Referring to the side mirrors, most of them shake, rattle and some fall off. I finally found a good set two years ago. I can go into the trailer and get the brand and model if you want. Not cheap but they stay put and in adjustment.

Not one, not two, but three job lots

The two Nex adapters I was expecting, for M42 and PK, both working well. Cost £13, I could have probably got them for less but I didn't want to wait for postage from China.

A very mixed job lot consisting of a Praktica LLC body, a Vivitar Vivicam 3.1megapixel digital camera, a Minolta AF 35-80, a Vivitar 28-70 for Contax-Yashica, a Super-Paragon 28-50 for OM, M42 extension tubes, a tiny but working selenium exposure meter, a Minolta Vectis 100 APS camera, a Halina 110 camera, and some sort of crappy Vivitar 35mm compact that isn't working properly. £20.50 including postage and ought to be profitable overall.

And a Praktica lot that unfortunately may not make a profit - a Praktica Super TL with a 50mm 2.8 Tessar, a Paragon 135 2.8, and an Orestegon 29mm 2.8 The Tessar and the Paragon are nice and clean, and the Tessar is the zebra stripe version, unfortunately the Orestegon has serious fungus in the rear element - a real shame because it's also the zebra version. I made a mistake bidding and ended up paying £51 including postage, which was really a bit much even if the Orestegon had been perfect. I doubt I'll lose much, but it probably won't be profitable.

Got this bad boy on EBay. Minolta 16 Ps. No meter, no batteries, 2 shutter speeds. Came with a cartridge loaded with color film which must be 35 years old. Seems to work

Here is my collection of Eastern European M42 mount lenses, accompanied by a stack of Australian Measuring Units (Tim Tams), see earlier in this thread.

35mm: Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon f2.8 in aluminium
50mm: Pentacon auto MC 50mm f1.8, Tessar zebra f2.8, Industar 50-2 f3.5
58mm: Helios 44M-4
85mm: Jupiter 9, 85mm f2
135mm: Jupiter 37A f3.5
200mm Meyer Optik Gorlitz Orestegor f4

Under test on the far right is Carl Zeiss Jena 135mm electric - I will post sample shots in the Primes thread later, it is hard to resist.

That's a classic and a beautiful image of it, but who would expect less from pepperberry?
