I just got a Transcend 256GB micro SD card to replace the 128GB one that's currently in my phone. Now that I use my phone almost exclusively to get photos off my cameras and I want to keep it all there for reference and an extra backup, I need a lot of space.

I just ordered 10 Carhartt Ridge Field shirts. They are not making them anymore and they are great shirts when out in the field. The large zipper pouch behind the left breast pocket is a nice secure place for cell phones, small notepads, lens caps, wallets etc. They breath nice and resist staining too.

That looks like a very good option for FF Pentax owners, assuming the optics are up to scratch.
Indeed. With the Rokinon 50mm F1.4 and the DFA* 50mm F1.4, that Irix is another modern normal compelling option.

Out of interest, does it have the full aperture mechanism (meaning it only stops down as the image is taken and is therefore properly compatible with K-mount film cameras)?
Yes, aperture lever and A-type pins, no digital pins.

Found a good deal good used Godox AD400 pro with the ac adapter and a 43”brollybox. . Meet to pickup probably tomorrow.. to go along with it for outdoor and studio I ordered an 88” parawing umbrella and a 60”rapid octobox . Also a product photo box as I am prepping a number of items to sell on and it simplifies the process
Ok, the softbox and umbrella arrived today at work. wow, the umbrella is massive, I didn't visualize the size in my mind's eye. it will be great for outdoor shoots (on nonwindy days - or with heavy stand weights ) - can be a reflector or shoot-through ..... the 60" octobox is huge but I expected that.... this may force a move to a 10' stand...

Pretty much, most in like 4 transactions plus a few ebay singles.

This all started because I wanted my 100f4 macro back since I wanted to do DSLR scanning - so I chased down and got my original Pentax film kit (MX, ME super + lenses) back from a friend I had given it to in 1988 - he passed away years ago too young, but his family still had my camera equipment. I realized I hated the size of my Canon 7D, so I went all in on Pentax.

Most of the lenses came in packages that were too good in price to pass up, with bodies and lenses that I bought because I wanted something in the package - Facebook marketplace! One of the lenses, the big 80-200 f2.8 Tokina has some fungus, so I bought Hunt (4) and KEH (3) cheapest Pentax lenses to practice repairing on (like $2 to $20).

Almost done: waiting on a K-3 to arrive to try out to see if I can get more stability with the long lenses, and a Pentax 1.7x AF adapter to use the manual lenses.

Will be weeding it all down in the next year as I try it all out. Too many zooms, most manual focus, so many will hit ebay at some point too.

Keepers in the AF stuff are the KP with 40mmXS, 21 limited, 16-50 DA*, DA 50-300mm.

Latest package came with 4 SMC-A lenses and 2 film bodies, so I might ditch my old SMC-M lens duplicates, although they are smaller and feel better - more mechanical. But now I've suddenly got 6 film bodies - ME, my old ME Super, my old MX - needs CLA, perfect black MX, perfect Super Program, K2 - needs CLA - so need to rationalize that. K-30 and K-x will be getting sold after I finish selling the Canon stuff.

Are you sure the mount is not KA2? Most Irix models are and provide lensId through the "digital" contact.

You're right, I think, sorry I wasn't clearer. I meant that the digital/SDM ins are not there.

Found a Sigma 50/2.8 Macro here in the forums... I had the lens before and "broke" it beyond repair. I am glad to find another copy. Albeit mostly unknown, I cherished my previous copy enough to want to reacquire it again...

That is disturbing news indeed. I am starting to get concerned.

good to have as a reference, but I'm not going anywhere near those aperture blades; I'll happily send it out for a CLA.....

Just picked up a manfrotto 680b monopod and 234rc2 head.
Very happy as it looks new.

One late acquisition and another which has become a de-acquisition .
Won a Sigma 17-50/2.8 EX DC HSM on eBay for $168 total to my door. Looking to test it against my cranky HD 18-85 WR, when it arrives.
Then a Ks-2 I’d purchased off a forum want ad, arrived with a hidden, previously “repaired” defect- a broken flash shoe- (see photo.) Apparently the cold weather during transportation across the continent caused the plastic to shrink, popping the super glue and a thin plastic strip added to hide the defect. The Ks-2 is on its way back to the seller.
