use the stringer- three or four feet under the surface

make sure you put an extra line on it

A four pack of Continental PremiumContact 6 225/45 R17. I was looking for something sportier than my previous Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3, and the Contis deliver. Not sure what's wrong with their marketing department, because these clearly are the least comfortable, most direct feeling tyres amongst the sporty options. And Premium sounds like comfort, which they do not have. Great tyres, but branded completely wrong. No wonder I see many comfort oriented cars wearing these shoes...

Also bought an MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti... thankfully I could mine enough so that the price tag went down to what the card should have cost in the first place...

And then I found a Bowers & Wilkins DB4S new at a price I couldn't resist (below what these trade for second hand). I'm really impressed at what this subwoofer is capable of despite the size. It beats a friends similarly sized SVS hands down left right and center. Admittedly at 3-4x the price tag, but still. Plus it is rather gorgeous, unlike many other subwoofers.

You have all you need right there.

Spend the morning with your buddies, have a few PBRs, then on the way home stop by the fishmonger and get a nice big trout or bass to take home and show off to everyone.

Oh, and be sure to remove the freshly “caught” fish from the wrapper before you get home.

Haha! Honestly I only eat Cod fish and some Salmon. If anything is caught I might give it away to a neighbor. I just want to feel the quietness and relaxation for a few hours

This week: Just a nasty sunburn. I took the Miata down into Kentucky and cruised almost 280 miles on the backroads, without sunscreen.

10 or 15 years ago in my 1990 Toyota Pickup I ended up with a bright red top with a perfect negative image of the seat belt. I remember your pain!

My Sigma 15mm finally arrived. It looks like a keeper. I can't wait to go out and use it.

Long Island's Great South Bay is a great place to fish for flatfish - flounder and fluke ("summer flounder").
Their mild white flesh is not at all oily. Filleted they're among the few types of fish I enjoy eating.

I ate cod happily until I learned the hard way about cod worms, or nematodes! You're welcome! Hahah. Some freshly-caught cod someone gave us was full of them, I salvaged the meat by removing them but I can't say I enjoyed the meal as much as I should have. Then, when you get battered fish and chips and notice a cooked nematode in your food, it takes some of the fun out of it all.

That reminds me of the old joke......What’s worse than finding a worm when you bite into an apple?Finding half a worm!

Thanks for the suggestion - I will likely look into fishing in this area - should be about 30 mins from my place depending location.

Uff thanks for sharing this, but no thanks! Wow... I've yet to find one but now if I order it again I am going to be freaking out.
