That looks like it would be a really handy addition to a K3III.

It would certainly mitigate the lack of a movable LCD, at least in part.

The clamp rotates so the phone can be held in landscape position. The one I bought was a $10 cheapie, if it breaks I'll likely replace it with a better-made model.

New Ball Head

I purchased a used Vanguard SBH-100 Ball head after my Slik SBH-280 that I owned for 15+ years got stolen a few days back. In a way, I was looking for a replacement to the Slik, but could not find anything that would match it unti now. The Slik came with dual bubble levels for horizontal and vertical axis. You might say "so what" many ball heads come with this feature ? That may be true, but these days they come with these button bubble levels that are hard to see in dim lighting. Not only does the Vanguard come with dual LARGE bubble levels, it also comes with an independent Pan lock. Something that was missing in the Slik 280. This was one of its most aggravating features or non features and the main reason I wanted to replace it. I purchased the Vanguard for $40 on ebay. Now I need a replacement for the Slik Tripod that was also stolen that day...

I bought a third PK to L adapter, the standard K&F Concept one that doesn't allow for the adjustment of aperture on lenses that have no aperture ring. I also have that one but don't like it because (A) it's too easy to leave it set to hold the aperture wide open regardless of the aperture set on the ring and (B) it won't work with my M 120mm f/2.8, which has a weird add-on not present on any other K-mount lens I've used. I have a standard Urth brand adapter too but it's frankly ugly and the smooth finish makes it difficult to grip.

I am curious what that weird extra bit on the mount is.

Yes, I need to take the time to take a photo of it and even see if it can be removed, but it's presumably there for some purpose, though what that might be, given that no other Pentax lens I've ever owned has it, I have no idea.

It's also fair to say that whatever is hitting it on that one adapter should also not be needed as it isn't present on any of the others.

Maybe someone here will recognise it and be able to help.

I have the SMC Tak 120/2.8 and like it.

A DA*60-250/4 via eBay and a Western Digital 12 TB hard drive from BH. The drive is on sale today for $113 off!! The DA* 60-250 is a replacement for one I sold (stupidly) three years ago when I bought my 55-300PLM.

I have a similar mount, but it never occurred to me the phone flashlite might be useful for camera photos. Thanks!

Eric Hendrickson did a nice job repairing a Spotmatic-F I once owned, also with a bum meter.

I would never have known that the Godox AD200 existed if it was not for this fine website. Now I find myself needing wanting one.
I discovered them about the time you did and bought one as part of a black Friday sale that was still going. My family surprises me with another one on Christmas. I use them for light painting (like lighting up a 6 story tall abandoned grain silo.) They tend to overheat pretty quick. so I have to alternate. Tried doing an abandoned gas station tonight & one crapped out... overheating.

It's not in my posession yet but should be tomorrow. I couldn't resist a Sigma EX 20mm/1.8. No lens hood though, so the search begins for one.
