I have almost all of them now Takumar Duo tone, single tone, Auto Takumar, Super-Takumar in both versions. Super-Multi-coated Takumar, SMC Pentax. Just missing the silver tele-takumar for the Asahiflex.

Just got a 15-30 Pentax zoom. I’ve used it on my K1 II. I don’t know how I can ever go back to apsc again!
With a Sigma 10-20 hsm zoom lens?

GODOX Lux senior retro flash. No pTTL. Semi automatic by in-flash sensor or manual, like in the old days.
On K-3II it works, next testing on a ME ...
This flash asks for a vintage camera (pentax new film camera project...?).

Do you know if they are all the same optical formula? If there is one that's different, I would immediately suspect the original tele-Takumar. Among those early lenses I think that the 200mm f5.6 is also regarded as a very good lens.

That is a nice lens. I have and I’ve used it a lot on my K3. I also have the 8-16 and used to have the slower 10-20. The color, DR, resolution, and general IQ of the K1 II 15-30 combo exceeds any of the aforementioned K3 combinations just from my bench testing, testing around my yard, and a single trip to Joshua NP.

I have not had much testing or experience with my K3 III 11-18 combo. I will be running a series of tests with the 11-18 vs 10-20 vs 8-16.

All the early variations up until the first version of the Super-Takumar are 5 element with a cemented rear element. From then on they are 4 element with a single rear element. Main difference is the coatings I like the early ones better than the late ones.

My 'native' camera shop (one of 4 within an hour drive) had their semi anual junk sale & I was nearby & my schedule allowed me to stop in, which originally I didn't think I could. I originally went in for some old M42 bellows I saw on their website. Not only did I pick those up at a 10% discount, but I also found a lonely K-X sitting misplaced in a bin of random parts. I figured I could use the screws out of it as they seem to always be falling out of my K-1. Guy said eh, $5 (the sale was $10 per box load of stuff.) Well, I got home tonight & put some batteries in it... IT WORKS!!!!! They said it didn't.

I have a Tele-takumar 200mm f5.6 and its a great lens, sharp across the range of focal distances, including at infinity and wide open. I have an original Pentax metal screw-in lens hood.

I also recently picked up an Auto-Takumar 55mm f2.2 with a cocking lever, and that's also extremely sharp lens. It's a 46mm thread, so I have adapted a 49mm screw-in hood.

For the old Taks, I almost always use as long a hood as will avoid vignetting, that partly compensates for the older coatings.

I had considered findign the 1.8 version, but I've not followed thru. Whether one is better than the other on FF depends on which one the reviewer chose, or have you now used both?

Oh, and I have a new, still in the box and never opened, FA35 2.0 on the way for the K1 mono.

I have the later tribute lens, made by Cosina, but no other Topcons (yet) - I had to also buy an adapter so I can use the RE 5.8....

Spotted a Nikon DF in the local camera shop today, it must be the first second hand one I have seen in YEARS...I have to say it is a visually appealing camera particularly to my aesthetic sensibilities, the price is also very tempting.

Make sure you get a good feel of it before you commit to buying. I got rid of mine after a few months, as I found it horrible to actually use, though I loved the IQ and it was ideal for MF Nikon glass.
