I thought I'd give this a try. It's about the cheapest film I can get, so good for testing cameras.
Post some pictures in the film section after you process your first roll, I'm interested in how this film rates.

Thanks, Phil.

Four, count them, 4 shutter buttons. One for each zone focus distance.
Very nice!

Tamron AF 28-80 1:35-5.6 and Tamron AF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 LD added to my lenses today. I traded my extra M42 Tak 50 and one of the nicer Vivitar zooms I own for them locally. He's going more manual focus now apparently. Stupidly, I forgot to ask him his user name but he's a board member apparently. (Oops, not as yet. He's been lurking he says though he's likely to de-lurk soon and says he'll tell me who he is then.) Lives a couple of towns away though, but still pretty much locally to me. Bit of a nicer area than mine though. Mine's a pit lately compared to where he's from. I've actually been trying to persuade my folks to move over that way....

I wasn't really expecting much from the 28-80, reviews were so-so but after peeking a bit I'm actually looking forward to using it. I think it's probably a bit underrated maybe better than advertised and the 75-300 definitely looks good. It's a lot lighter than the Sigma I bought. Definitely both of them look a lot better than my Tamron 28-200 which I am definitely beginning to think was a bit of a dud lens. We'll see.

I'm honestly too tired to try them out tonight. It was a very long day. Besides all the time I took posting on here, cough, I had to handle a lot of parental stuff. Dad had a doc's appt. I had a bit of a shoot earlier, some passport type photos, nothing much but still it took time because I had to run the client down to the club house here to find a nice blue wall to shoot against. (I really needed those new lights and backdrops. Having them at home will make my life so much simpler, sigh.) I was actually trying to receive and unpack all my new gear while doing the cropping and burning those shots for her. Later I was answering emails and making umteen phone calls. Our hot water heater died so I was on the phone with the gas company about rebates and trying to get a plumber out too for about two hours.

FYI, I typed at you all while on hold a couple, three times today. Isn't it nice that I can multi-task? :P No luck with that task though. I had a nice COLD shower before we met up, and it looks like we will have no hot water till next week, oh joy. Upper 80's-low 90's outside all day, humid, just sweat box weather, but the water was absolutely FREEZING at 6PM...Worth going though. All these pretty new toys. It's been like Christmas around here all day, and I'm not done yet. I have the bar for the backdrops, my fancy insert, and the new reflectors coming tomorrow. By the end of the weekend I'll finally have something vaguely resembling an actual home studio albeit an amateur one. (Woo woo!)

1. Because it was there and available.
2. Because I reckon I'll have lesser issues with moire than I will with sharpening.
3. Probably no real reason that I can think of other than severe GAS

Sorry, I am trying not to be a smartness (kindly spell checked by my browser and I thought I'd leave it there)

The ST Takumar 150 f4 purchased a few weeks ago finally turned up.
As described it had a bit of fungus inside rear element but that soon came out with the lens spanners and all good to go - no caps or hood or case and the postage was more than the lens - First shot today beyond wall tests - no sharpening applied:
