Perhaps, but can you get that at finder price any more?
Only if you perform the proper wiccan rituals.

New Stuff!

Hello to all the LBA's, CBA's and everyone else. I've been remiss in keeping up with this thread, busy using my new gear.
Here's the goodies, the K-7 was used but well-cared-for and low mileage; a fellow PF member, right here in Denver. The DA 35mm AL f/2.4 was an eBay purchase, clean and clear optics. The BG-4 is a Chinese knock-off ($400 for a genuine Pentax copy? Aacck!) for $50.00 and looks OK, all buttons and switches work, so far, so good.
I gave the new camera and lens a workout at a recent concert, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. High ISO and tough stage lights, all worked flawlessly. There's samples in the "Post Your Photos" section.
Tax refund is gone, but I'm happy!
P.S. Couldn't decide which composition was better, these artistic choices always baffle me....so I posted both.
Ron

Well i have sold off quite of bit of stuff lately, only to buy more lenses.... Sold my K-x, and 2 kit lenses, 2 Tamron lens range from 10 - 300mm combined... but bought a DA 15 & just paid for a DA 70mm limited lens... So I just enough for one more lens, unless i get rid of some of my manuals... oh this LBA is killing me...

it could be worse! I could be gambling the $$$ away...

Ahhh makes me feel better....

Somebody got a nice deal on Goodwill a bit ago. Nice looking black KX SLR, probably an M 50 1:1.7 and an M 150 for like $80? I was watching all week but it got a little rich for my blood towards the end. Come on, fess up, who was it? That HAD to be someone on here, laugh. I'm a bit envious but whoever you are I hope you use and enjoy that beauty. That was a great deal, sigh...

I got a Super-Multi-Coated Tak 105mm f/2.8 in the post yesterday, in excellent condition. I'm looking forward to the weekend to try it out.

Yeah, I was watching that auction too, but I never bid on it. Although in hindsight, I wish I had. I'm thinking, sell the KX and M50 and I've got a nearly free M150. What a deal. Hope the winner enjoys their new toys!

Meade ETX-90/EC

Picked this (and a Meade Deluxe Field Tripod) up at the Flea Market in Front Royal, VA yesterday for $65. The cap was stuck on the front objective but a little elbow grease broke it free. The optics are flawless. Havn't checked the motor drive yet, but even if it doesn't work this is a spectacular piece of hardware that I'll be getting a T-mount for.

Mike

p.s. Sorry the photo sucks, but it was taken with an iPhone... not one of my Pentaxes. LOL

I just received a brand new Korean knockoff eveready case for the Pentax MX.
It's okay, but the quality is not as good as the Korean ME Super case I bought a few years ago.

The original Pentax brand MX eveready case was made of especially poor quality self-destructing vinyl.
These date from the post oil-crisis period. IIRC the quality of vinyl records really suffered then, too.

Chris

Adaptall 28mm f/2.5 with a C/Y mount and a bunch of filters, adapter rings and hoods. If I hadn't sold all of my Pentax 28mm lenses a while ago I could have done a comparison.

I got a K-5 2 weeks ago and dragged it all over the Dominican Republic for a week with my K200d as a back up.
