how much you got it for? $100?

That 18-70mm is a good lens as far as zooms go.

$750 for the package. Should be able to make about a 33% profit if I resell all of it.

wow, that is quite a steal. from what it appears, the body seems like sold for around $100-$200. probably devalued greatly due to age and technology used.

Welp, got it. The D200 is in fantastic shape. The 18-70 has some scratches on the front element and the bezel is peeling (very odd), but the IQ is fine. Will probably reduce the resale value quite a bit, though. The other two lenses are in perfect shape. All in all, not bad for a craigslist deal.

Sold everything now but the Nikon 55-200. Already made a profit.

Just picked up:

Vivitar 105mm f/2.8 Macro (Nikon Ai-s)
Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 (Nikon Ai-s)

Both in like new condition.

I don't know much about Meyer lenses. I can't comment there except to wish you luck with it but that lens case is absolutely beautiful. I've got a real thing about old leather lens cases and that one is just SWEET. I like it.
Actually the Meyer brochures state you had an option of getting the more expensive calf leather case or the hogskin case, Meyer-Optik Görlitz - Prospekte (brochures)

I guess Ducdao's got the hogskin .-)

I dunno, that's just plain swanky. Maybe some doeskin for more casual eveningwear?

nope, you aren't seeing double. the other copy is in FD mount and I got it a few mounts ago. I might sell it in the future to finance something else.

Super Takumar 35mm f/2 and a Wein hotshoe mount optical slave at a camera show.

Pentax ME and an M50mm f/1.7 for $20 at a junk shop because there was a broken filter stuck on the lens. 10 minutes worth of work and the lens looks like new (though I still have to test it and the body).
