I just picked up a DA 35mm 2.4. It's my first new prime (I have a couple 50mm film era ones; 2.0 and 1.4). I am liking what I've seen so far and posted one of my first shots in the pet a day thread.
I got one a month or so back, nice little lens in the little i've used it so far (I've picked up a lot of lenses lately, time to stop and use them for a while)

On route to me as I type this, a new 27" IMac, 3.4GHz Quad core i7, with upgraded memory and graphics.

My PC Photoshop version (CS3) will also need upgraded to a Mac version, might well just go for the new CS6.

This bunny is more than happy, more like an ecstatic bunny, but also now a skint bunny.

Ha ha! I can tell you're not married. I'd never get away with a spending spree like that just because I got paid.

Just received a Tokina 17mm F3.5 lens (like new) and am waiting on a Super Takumar 50mm F4 Macro lens and a Tair 33 300mm F4.5 lens.

Here's the first shots of the Tokina 17mm. I'm going to like this lens.

Wide open (focuses to 9")

The lens itself

Indeed !

And i've just click on the "Buy it" button for a Q + 8.5mm for 300€ (370$)

and i will spend my remaining € in train and traveling for the next two week.

I plan to spend around 1000€ in a month

Of course! No good buying photo gear and then not traveling to new places to make use of it. I hope you enjoy your trips, I love going places by train.

Great choice of gear aurele +1 on train travel - relaxing is easy:
- the driver is extremely unlikely to get lost
- you can stand up and move around
- journey doesn't stop for toilet breaks!

Those two Sears lenses should have shipped at some point today. I still can't believe I bought a pair of cheapo manual zooms that I don't even have a decent camera to use on. Its a very odd kind of LBA I guess.

That said, the more I read on it, the better the K-30 seems geared towards old manual glass, so I should get some good use out of them in another 6 or 7 months or so.
