I finally was able to pick up a new silver FA 77mm F1.8 Ltd for a reasonable price. Now my silver FA 43mm 1.9 has company. I think these are close to art.

Congratulations. I hope it's everything you thought it would be.

Oh man......I never thought of looking at Amazon Used for one of those. I'd like to have one - just looked and you must have got the only one. I'll have to stay on my toes if another one comes up.

When I get bored I go to Amazon Warehouse and put in manufacturers names that I am interested in, occasionally I get great hits like the 055PROBX for $61 out the door with 1 scratch on 1 leg Then there are the Pentax pieces of gear there that are MORE than they are new elsewhere on the Amazon site

Couldn't resist a second one of these. It has been in storage half it's life. The leather case is soft and flawless. All for $52 including a mint manual. Have only three more pictures left on the film I have in it. I just love these manual pieces of metal artistry.

Yesterday I received my new K5-IIs and a Pentax DA 12-24mm zoom. First impressions are positive indeed. I already have a K5. The lens is the first auto focus SLR lens I have ever owned. My next newest lens is about 20 years old.

This is going to sound really lame, compared to the lenses and cameras that you guys are acquiring en masse but...amazon delivered my latest photo-widget this morning: a new gray-card & pantone swath patch card, replacing their (worn to shreds) predecessors.....

No photography tool is inconsequential or "lame". Better color balance and accuracy is something all too many leave to the computer chip.

Best have your SR turned ON in the camera then.

There are many types of decaf out there. Many.

When I go for a day's shooting I come back with consistently better results having NOT had real coffee, and even better results having had OJ or water in place of decaf.
