Wow - that's quite a collection. Some rare, expensive and highly rated gear.

K2 DMD is the only film camera I've ever been irrationally attached to. Neat find.

I've owned everything in that kit so I can't be jealous.
Well, maybe a little...

That goes WAY beyond the threshold of shareworthiness!*

I just bought a Soligor-labeled Kiron 105/2.8 macro (in Minolta SR/MD mount) and a Minolta MC 28/2.5 for 40€ each and sold my Kiron 28mm f/2 (Minolta MD) for 80€ (I'll post pictures when they arrive).
I'll consider it my reward for working through 680 pages of Habermas...

I am happy my comment amused you. The offer still stands. Below is a copy of the cover of the annual.

From my trip to the Nantes expo/swap ...

A Tele-Takumar 200/5.6 with a M42 adapter for 40€ ... and the matching case for 2€ from a different vendor.

Inside the case was a receipt for a Tele-Takumar 200/5.6 dated 1965 from Tahiti ... too much fun! J

Are there any classifieds websites, you could try? That's where I find most bargains.

Thanks plus nice Tokina find ... and yeah, I hunt a bit.

Sometimes find a few goodies like these three projector lenses for 1€ each in a junk bin at Nantes (xpost).

The Leitz should be a very good lens and going to test it soon. Salut, J

ifrogz flashlight and telephone charger

I spotted a display of these devices in the local office of one of the largest U.S. cell phone service providers for $29.99, so decided to check eBay for the same product and found it for only $9.99. I ordered it, and here it is.

What is it--basically a small flashlight and cell phone recharger. You use a standard iphone charging setup to charge the unit, and it then holds a high enough electrical charge to recharge one cell phone. It appears to be a great solution for those expecting to be off the grid but still needing to keep their phones working. Those going on an extended off-road trek could purchase two or more devices to keep their cell phone charged for an extended period of time.

However, it takes 4 hours for the device to completely charge a phone, so I suppose many will just use their phones while the phone is attached to the device. In the automobile, it seems not to offer any real advantage over charging the phone through the cigarette lighter socket--except it also functions as a small flashlight.

Could be a nice stocking stuffer for Christmas!

Deary me... what an awesome find... just don't tell me you got all this for 20 dollars at a thrift store... or, if you did, good job and sell me that 24 2.8 for cheap j/k

Since my DA 35 2.4 is now the wife's lens and I don't get to use it anymore... I got me this:

I can't even find dust inside. Now I just need an adapter for it...
