Ha! I had money left from when I sent the DA* 50-135 back. Now I don;t! :-)

If I had known the DA20-40 was going to be available under $700, I would have held off on the Distagon. But sometimes you have to jump on a good deal. :-)
Well, if the last couple of years is any indication you should keep that Distagon in a safe and take it out a year after they are impossible to find in K.mount anymore and make a nice profit!

Kenwood KA-800 integrated amp, a match for the Kenwood KT-900 tuner I bought last month.
The "Audio Purist" line was produced around 1980, and was Kenwood's last true audiophile gear.

Helping out the Aussies

I did my part to help the unstoppable Australian industrial machine, and bought a RØDE VideoMic Pro (entirely designed and manufactured in Oz). Wonderful audio into my K-3, and surprisingly compact.

I inadvertently just won a (as in I put in a low bid and it won) a Pentax SMC super takumar 105mm f2.8. shipped for 62 Canadian (which at the rate it is going lately amounts to $50 USD)

from a fellow Canadian albeit one in another province
No front cap but a case and an original rear cap. I have the hood already as the 135 used the same one

looking forward to this one should be good for portraits

Nice surprise. Supposed to be a very nice lens indeed.

So I here, and they have been averaging closer to 2.5 times that lately so I didn't expect to win. Seller said minor fungus though it wasn't apparent in the images (and there were some good clear images) I sometimes think people say that just in case, i doubt fungus is a big issue in Winnipeg area where the lens is coming from. it's winter 8 months of the year so generally dry (though they do see flooding every spring so maybe)

Just received a RE.Auto-Topcor 58/f1.4 Exakta mount lens which was described by the seller as 'parts and not working-problem with aperture ring, missing click stops'. On going listed price for this lens ranges from 130-1000 depending on lens conditions; I scored that one for around 100 including shipping.

I changed it to m42 mount; cleaned and fixed it up and its good to go... surprisingly great lens with nice color and bokeh (some compares it to Nokton made by Cosina).

yep, if you are a democrat now you'll be a conservative, if you are a commie radical you'll be a liberal, there are no people in the us left wing enough to become an NDP member except Canadian expats. If you are a republican you'll only be allowed in to Alberta

OTOH when it comes to religion you can worship whatever you like but Hockey has to come first eh, then curling and beer
