AFAIK meter uses same parts as K1000, so could be an easy repair.
OR leave as-is for the perfect "Sunny 16" shooter...

Chris
Merci Chris ... good to know for the K1000 and it might be fun to "Sunny 16" shoot with it. I have not done that for a long time ... J

Well, this showed up on Le Bon Coin site and the seller was from Poitiers as well ... plus even brought the gear to my home ... all for 90€; not a "super killer" deal, but I really wanted the ST 35/2. The rest was gravy ...

The haul from left to right :

- a Pentax right angle finder with case
- a 49mm Super Tak 35/2 with caps & case plus hood with its case
- a yellow and green Hoya 49mm filters
- a Sears branded tripod (quite retro chromed)
- a SP with case and Pentax flash shoe plus a 7 element Sup Tak 50/1.4 with cap ... no battery to test the SP
- a Panagor 85-205/3.8 that needs cleaning out ... maybe some day on that one.
- a shutter release cable ...

The SP and ST 50/1.4 will be traded away at the next swap(s) for something else interesting.

Jeepers Jean. You're doing well on the acquisition front!

My LBA is lying low while I scratch my GAS....

Have a bunch of flash stuff coming (hot shoe, cable and stand attachment) ordered last night.

But what I'm REALLY excited about is my new canon pixma mg 7560. It's taken me close to 6 months to get off my butt and go out and buy a printer. My trusty (and expensive!) Epson r800 finally refused to switch on at the end of last year, and I've been making do with just black and whites on my laser printer, but the prints just don't come out great on the inkjet paper.

Wolfieboy's end of financial year bonus kicked in, so off I went to pick me up a printer. Waiting for the driver to install, and then I'll finally be able to print out some colour piccies again and fill up the fridge and my workspace with pics of wolfiepup...

That's pretty funny ...

Yes, I have been relatively aggressive here on the acquisitions, but I am building up my "war chest" for the Fall 2015 - Spring 2016 swap meet season. I have a blast trading there and hunting up new-to-me items ... keeps me out of the bars !

Today I stopped at my favorite camera store. (Bob's Photo in Bismarck, ND) and picked up a Promaster Gimbal GH-10 gimbal head and a Pentax O-GPS1 module. I already have a Nest gimbal head that I am happy with. But,they only wanted $129 US for it and that is $20 cheaper than through Amazon. I have always subscribed to the idea that two is one and one is none. When I get back home, I plan to give the Astrotracer feature a good workout.

BTW , Bob's is 1,506 miles from my house, so every time I am out here, I stop by.

What really hurts is that I am 585 miles from Yellowstone NP and I will not be going there.

My Latest Acquisition --

New Payroll Source (new job).

I took my black S cameras to work and displayed them on my credenza. I plan to rotate display cameras while I'm not using them, just to keep things interesting. Lots of people have made comments (I have an FM3A at home - haven't used it in years; I should bring you my Nikkormat - do you want it? [I have enough trouble controlling Pentax LBA - don't get me started on Nikon]; and the ever-present, "Hey! I remember those!! K1000, right? Are they still in business?").

Just bought a Rokinon 85/1.4 from the marketplace. I took it to a night out with friends yesterday, and the lens was so much fun to use.

Not in my possession yet, they have to ship it in from MT, but we put down the $$ on this new ride today:

Gonna be much easier to haul kayaks around! And yes, this is the color I want (in fact, this is possibly the last one in the western US since GM cancelled that color for 2016 models...)

Had to take a 4WD and a few other not-needed items, plus getting it shipped over here, in order to get my yellow... This one was literally the only one left avaailable in the western US...

I *like* my bright yellow! <grin>
