Ok ... here's the "line up" ... does it show that I went to a swap meet last Sunday ?

All trade "ups" and trade "aways" of unwanted gear for something "new"/better/different.

Total cash outlay was 25€ ... 10 for a rough but working Olympus SP (middle), 12 for the meter dead Ricoh but nice 55/1.4 attached and 3 for the Pentacon.

I wish we had swap meets here in NZ. We don't even have decent thrift stores. There's one pawn shop in the city where I live. One :-(

Wednesday when I got home from work mrs. monochrome told me the ice cubes in the fridge were water. OK, sez I, go buy a new refrigerator. Alas, she can't do it alone - I have to be there.

Thursday I met her for 'lunch' at the appliance store (why am I here, I thought, we're clearly not going to buy the one I want). Then she looked at me. Oh, thought I, get out the charge card. Well OK then. I'm here to pay.

Funny that. Her charge card charges on the same account mine does. So why am I here?

So this puppy is humming away making ice and chilled water. Did I say Chilled Water? I've never had ice and water in the door before.
Well from your always entertaining stories, I think you've spent the full frame budget about 3 times already, so it shouldn't take that long until you save up again

Saw a camera shop this morning, in England, where the only Pentax branded item I could see was the doormat.

Lol, there's one camera shop in the city where I live in New Zealand. It has NO Pentax kit what so ever. Mostly Canon / Nikon with a bit of Olympus and Panasonic chucked in. Pentax, what has happened to your high street presence ???

Made my first purchase from Japan on ebay for long wanted Sigma 30mm f1.4 non HSM version, $267. It's a beautiful lens, but I made a mistake, and bought it for Canon first. It's harder to find a copy for Pentax these days. Shame on Sigma.

Mine just arrived from B&H. I purchased the Pentax AF540FGZ II. I can't wait to mount it on my new to me K3 that I purchased from a fellow forum member.
