My new to me DA 21 Limited for $230 came to me today. Bought it off KEH on their cyber Monday special. Thing looks like it was never used. I can not find a mark or scratch on it. This is my first limited. Hopefully the weather tomorrow will be decent so I go and get some shots.

Well done Scorpio, I have only one limited lens, the 40mm and it is wonderful. Hope you have great results and mega fun with yours.

Been busy lately with end of year stuff but have a couple of things to share:

1. A Gordy's wrist strap - regular black leather, dark brown wrist support and dark brown cotton wrapping. If I have a day bag the neck straps are just in the way and add unneeded bulk.. The regular size wrist strap fits my skinny wrists just fine. This solution supplies the added confidence, safe guards against jostles and drops and doesn't get in the way when operating in portrait mode.

2. SMC DA 70 (from forum member) - love it so far - now thinking of offloading the Super Takumar 55 1.8 and SMC Takumar 50 1.4 (And the pristine classic spottie) as the inconvenience of the adapter ring stops me reaching for them.

Also in the photo are the K3 Precision, DA 21 HD, Silvered M40 (DC Shooter) , HP Elite Pad with Kathmandu slip case, a few generic pinch caps for the lenses and my leather backpack which has just had a replenishing wax. In the bag is a Chinese made removable cloth covered foam camera 'case' with three movable baffles to stop everything from jinking around.

Add to this daily everyday carry stuff.

Total weight is about 3kg.

This is my daypack for the holiday season - in the suitcase will be added the two zooms for the extremities: Sigma 8-16 and FA 100-300 for the times when circumstances require. - No tripod.

Another 10€ thrift store kit ... see "10" on buckle latch.

- an excellent working Canon AE-1 with a FD 50/1.8 plus tattered case (not shown) along with instruction manual
- a like new FD 80-200/4 SSC with case
- a Canon flash with pouch plus a 55mm B+W A-1 Skylight filter ... not a bad haul and I will probably try to trade these away at the next swap(s).

A 58 mm CPL filter, a 49mm to 58mm step up ring, and a 52mm to 58mm step up ring. At a thrift store for a dollar (only 75 cents for you more southern people) in good condition.

A Fuji X-E1 with DA/K mount adapter following shortly. Looking forward to being able to use my DA35 on the Fuji with aperture control via the adapter.

I have two of those vintage cases, one brown, one black. I like them.

Well, I have received my 85mm/F2, and the K-3ii I purchased to replace the K-3 held indefinitely by Precision, and all I can say is that I am in love with the 85mm and have much to learn about the K-3ii.

Promaster 19-35mm

Couldn't pass up a Promaster Spectrum 7 19-35mm, f 3.5-4.5 NIB for $99 and no freight charges. There are plenty of reviews on the lens, and my test shots are favorable. Reviews seem to suggest that quality is a little over the Pentax DAL 18-55 mm kit lens, but I am keeping my kit lens because it is weather resistant. Two test shots are posted of the foggy field across the street from my house, one at 19 mm and the other at 35 mm.
