Mrs. JML69 wanted my K-50 and 18-135 WR lens for the ability to use the scene modes for Sunsets and such so I started looking for a "new to me" backup. Just brought home a Very Mint (3200 shutter actuations) K-5ii with 18-135 WR lens that was within 15 minutes of where I live for $500.00 which I thought was a heck of a deal.

Considering it came with the 18-135, that really is a great deal! And at 3200 actuations, it's barely run-in. Congratulations!

Just put the 100mm Macro WR on the "new to me" K-5ii and it is going to be a keeper. However the actual actuations were 3300 not 3200, but hey I can live with that.

Jean: That is not a very good lens, but I will offer to buy it from you for double what you paid for it just so you do not lose money on the deal, Thanks, ivan :>)

Here's the inventory/mug shot of yesterday's thrift store haul ... first is the contents of the camera bag (which was 10€): a working Nikon FM with 50/1.8, a Tokina 28/2.8, a flash (10€ price marked on it) plus manuals/brochures in French and German, and last but not least, the Angénieux 90/1.8 with a crudely repainted hood (?) ... and the second image is the non-working Rollei SRL with a Carl Zeiss Plannar 50/1.8 which was 5€. Happy camper. A very happy camper.

Wow! That's a once-in-a-lifetime find.

Is it a QBM mount? Have you got a working Rollei body? Will you post some shots taken with the Angenieux soon? Pleeeeease.

You were over-exposed, for sure. Try under-exposing next time

And now a small secondhand wide-screen monitor to connect to the receiver, so that I can use them both down the garden ( in the garage!) to help me get all the LNBs lined up (1st one done today, with more to follow) - photography is taking a back seat to that, the garden and the house at the moment😬

Obviously not a high-end WR body. You should upgrade.
