I scored a Konica IIIa. Here is what Dante Stella says about the Beast:
Konica IIIa and IIIM rangefinder cameras
This sucker is heavy! My Baby came with an everready case, in pretty rough condition, but it protected the camera, which has only a scuff or two on the baseplate. All else is "minty." The lens is spotless, and came with the Konica lens cap, and a 1A filter (I think!). The shutter sounds correct at the slow speeds. The release is smooth, and with the mass of the Monster and that fast lens available darkness should be easy.
The rangefinder/viewfinder is a gem. Bright, good eye relief, both eyes open since its 1 to 1, parallax corrected, and it
compensates for the decrease in coverage as the lens focuses closer! No, Leica never did that. Nor did Nikon, nor Canon. I am tempted to look for the dedicated closeup/viewfinder attachment...
