Picked up one of these panoramic photography adapters at a car boot sale (US="swap meet") which I thought was rather good for £7.50 - then I found out that the software to convert the image to a panorama costs a couple of hundred dollars. Fortunately CEX (a big chain of 2nd hand electronics stores that sells cameras, laptops, phones etc.) buy them for £23 if you take it as a credit note against other goods (and sell them for £35, which seems a fairly low profit for something that takes up a lot of space), so I sold it on to them. I assume there's some sort of market, I just didn't want to try selling it myself because I couldn't produce test pictures. I think it stood about 20 cookies tall, roughly speaking, but I'm on a diet and couldn't check.

Today I got an early Minolta SRT-101, with 55/1.7 kit lens. For my high school photography class I wanted my own camera, so I got such a model, but it was later sold or given away. So, pretty much a nostalgia purchase.

a brief aside on the use of adhesives for SMU stacking - if you render the SMU's inedible, it's cheating... if you can eat them after you're done, everybody wins....

  • 10 rolls of 7-years-expired Fujicolor 100, 12 exposure
  • Argus 75 box camera, with loaded film

Today I got

A Canon Eos 300 (35mm) body with 28-80 EF lens - lens unfortunately turns out to have very slight fungus, body looks OK but I don't have batteries - I generally keep one set but they died in another body a couple of days ago, waiting for replacements.
A Minolta Dynax 500si (35mm) body with 35-70mm AF lens - works well.
And a Shepherd XE-88 flash meter, also OK.

Total cost £15, all destined for eBay eventually.

And today

Two manual Rikenon 50mm f2 lenses, PK mount; one's the pancake version, the other the XR version
Sigma and Super Paragon 28 f2.8 lenses, both claiming to be macro, for PK
A Meyer Optic Goerlitz Orestor 135 f2.8, unfortunately a bit shabby and in Exakta fitting
A Diana Lomography camera

All together cost £42, should be moderately profitable.

Maybe use chocolate sauce or molten marshmallow?

Personally, I believe that the originator of the SMU - pepperberry farm - should always be the source of all official decisions regarding it.

A Peak Design expandable field pouch. The wife wanted one to carry all of our spare batteries etc, and we had looked at many, but the PD came out on top again. It's a very well thought out thing and very nicely made.

(seller's photos)

I also picked up a KX with three lenses (K135/3.5, M50/1.4 and another K28/3.5).

I can identify the K28/3.5 at a glance at this point... Maybe I should set up a test for sample variation while I have 3 copies at hand.
