A Nikon D90, replacing my old D50. Not exactly state of the art, but it's compatible with all of my older Nikon lenses etc. including the one that still uses their original autofocus system, and about twice the pixel count of the D50.

Great cameras

There's only a few lenses that I still have LBA for, and this is one of them. Possibly at the top of the list.

Let's see how you get along with it

Are you saying its a low-resolution lens?

I acquired it with the intention to use it on the K-1, as a lower cost wide angle.
The K-1 is less demanding on the lenses than the K-3/K-P when it comes to center resolution. You should be good.

I got an M 50 1.4 with slow aperture blades for a price I couldn't refuse - just shipping

From playing with it, it seems like f2 is fine, but from f2.4 on, the slow aperture blades will cause exposure problems. Still, being useful at f2 and wide open should still give me a lot of ways to play with it, and I intend to compare it with my Rikenon P 50 1.4. It's my first Pentax 1.4 lens so let's see if it will get me excited enough to get it CLA'd.

Edit: actually, at f2 it only closes down half a stop (testing against the 2 second delay which will make the lens work fine - but I lose SR). f/2.8 and down, it stops the same 1/2 stop, so wide open an f/1.7 is all I get with this lens as it is...

I guess that means I get to compare it to the Rikenon 50 1.4 and the M 50 1.7

Luckily, from my few shots inside, it seems like it's sharp wide open!

Where does the 100X fit into the SRT series?
The 100X is the last of the SRTs, sold as the cheap option. Really, there is very little difference between any of the SRT line - I think there's one that only goes to 1/500s instead off 1/1000s, some don't have mirror lock up, the later 100Xs had a more basic metering system instead of the CLC system... But they're all essentially the same body with only minor differences. All are very solidly built.

New lens for the 645N and D

Just received like-new Pentax 645 75mm f 2.8 LS. I found the sync cord and find it lights up the LS setting on the 645D, but have not shot with it yet, seeking suitable model!

This gives me all three 75mm 645 lens--A, FA, and LS. I should probably sell one of these, but I like the A too much and auto-focus might be convenient some time

I have one of those for my Nikon, probably my favourite lens though it's getting a bit ancient. If it's anything like mine you'll probably find that you get the best results in the 50-100mm range, acceptable up to around 200mm, and a bit lacking in sharpness at 300mm. I recently noticed this when I upgraded to a D90 which is twice the resolution of my old D50 and took the lens out for some tests - pictures (mostly concentrating on textures etc.) here: Tamron 28-300 Test | Flickr

I've already noticed it's way better than the Adaptall-based 28-200mm 171D, despite having 100mm more zoom range
