No new acquisitions since I was at an SF convention all weekend, but I finally got round to taking out the SMC Pentax-FA 35-80mm f4-5.6 I picked up recently - not a bad lens, but it doesn't feel exceptional. I'll stick with the 18-55 I got with my K200D, it's a better all-rounder for this body.

Album here if anyone is interested, but nothing I haven't photographed dozens of times before: Pentax FA 35-80 4-5.6 on Pentax K200 | Flickr

Well, if I had any doubts that Magnicons were rebranded Tokinas... (Finally got the SH-522 hood for it.)

Finally got a package in today with some old Auto Taks and an H1a. The AutoTaks have certainly seen use, but appear to be in working order. Weird, I never knew that the older cameras without a flash attachment point could have one fit over the viewfinder and sit on top of the camera to accommodate a flash. This one came with two plus some old and new filters. It looks like whoever used this camera was using it until rather recently given that 2 of the filters fitted on the lenses are Hoya UMC UV(0) filters.

Busy week. I got a manfrotto monopod compact advanced for £15, a case for my Jupiter 11a for £5 inc postage and I paid for my Jupiter 11A and Helios 44-2 charity shop finds, £30 for the pair! Sweet!

Pentax did not have an "accesory shoe" through the original version of the Spotmatic (I still have mine) Later versions of the Spotmatic added a true "hot-shoe" (=with electrical contacts).

I've found a 110 cartridge of Fujifilm Fujicolor F-II at a thrift store (still 21 exposures left in it).

Picture of the label shot with my K50.

The whole complex cartridge of APS is probably a factor there.
Good point. This alone would be in the way of an eventual revival.

I may have dad 1 or 2 customers developing 110

Don't forget aps-p ..... panorama
Just crop the top and the bottom to make it seem like it is a panoramic photo.
I've never seen anyone use a 110 cameras yet I've seen hundreds of them in yard sales.

APS-P...I still have a few 4x11 prints

I've got one of those accessory shoes...a cold shoe of course, not a hot shoe, but I just inserted my flash cord into the camera body and the other end into the flash. It fits on the plastic frame of my viewfinder on the camera fits well and tight. I still have it mounted on my S1a. In fact I think once I mounted it onto the camera almost 50 years ago...I just left it attached.

It was an Ashai Pentax accessory at the time as some bodies, like my S1a...were...shoeless.

I bought it around 1969-70 to fit my Honeywell flash atop my Pentax S1a camera body. Very handy and well built small accessory.

New CZJ 80mm lens

Received CZJ Biometar 80mm f 2.8 lens I 've been wanting, this one in the zebra version and in nice condition, complete with genuine front cap and interestingly an Olympus front cap on the back. (The P6-PK mount shown with lens is one I already owned.) Here are a couple of photos of the lens plus a couple of initial shots taken from my front doorstep. I think the lens is promising. It is a medium format 6x6 lens, of course, and I will use it on the Pentax 645D and Z but also on the K-1 with a narrower FOV.
